I'm very enthusiastic about this franchise and also curious to learn more about the world of Titan and its wild and dark continents! It's a shame that here in Brazil we don't have publishers interested in translating this incredible system. But, hope is the last thing to die, right friends?!
Whoa! Wait, wait, wait!!! Are you Graham?!? If so… first: Thank you! (As a Yank who only discovered FF about ten years ago, sadly, but joyously). If I have your ear for a tiny moment…. Please consider a game based on the original, introductory FF RPG (ever, so slightly expanded….like…whatever ‘skill’ you like, or some such). There’s a great clone, called Spellzard! that does that, but you’re in a wonderful and unique position to do it full-force! (As a rules-lite guy AFF is still far too much for me, but “expanded FF RPG” is not. Is there a market there?) Thank you again for keeping this game alive! Cheers!
I am looking at doing a "Basic AFF" box set next year, very similar to the FF game, with player book, Director book, adcventure book, maps, card minis, dice, character sheets etc. Watch thiis space...
@@ariongames8822That’s absolutely amazing to hear! I’m so very glad! Again as a late-coming American, I’m a bit jealous of you guys who had this inundate your childhood (all we had were the rule-less Endless Quest, etc , though Lone Wolf books were present of course they were absent full, personal char gen). Plus I’m jealous you guys had Warlock and Proteus mags. I’d have been in heaven in 1986 (at age 12)! Heheh! Thank you for all your extremely hard work and dedication to keeping this game and this part of rpg history alive and well! (Still want an easily available and affordable hard back of the 2E AFF rules! lol) 🙂 Cheers!
Honestly….brutally honestly… I’d bet ‘basic FF’ could be done as a digest, saddle-stitched booklet (DriveThru doesn’t offer that, but Lulu does). And a perfect-bound could be on DriveThru also, obviously. Considering what Spellzard! was able to achieve and your work and everything else…. Well, I’ll just say: I believe in you. Thanks again!
@@ariongames8822 Honestly, the young gentleman who created the very solid Spellzard!, I’d wager, may be someone to speak with. Gotta tell ya Graham… it really is solid and respectful and fun and atmospheric work. Seriously. If you guys worked together!….wow! Just…wow! Cheers to ya both, however! 🙂
he "board" is created from dungeon tiles that are laid in turn by each player (or for each tun if you are a solo player). So unlike something like Heroquest, the board changes every time
I really wish it was wilderness/dangerous mystical forest (at least) as I and everyone I game with dislikes or despises ‘dungeons’ despite our love and experience with old school stuff decades ago…. Our only ‘go-to’ board game is my old Talisman 2nd Ed. + a few expansions. Heh
So the core set will be dungeons, mainly because the seminal FF book was a dungeon. However, assuming this does well, we have expansions planned, the first of which I would like to be a Forest set, with new Adventure Cards and Tiles, as well as additional treasures, spells, Heroes, a new boss etc.
Thanks for explaining the details and describing play. Sounds like a great game product. I look forward to getting to play this one.
Cheers!
Really really looking forward to playing this with my boy
I have played it a lot with my four children during all of the development, and they love it!

This looks amazing! 👌
Thank you! We are really excited about this.
Oh, damn, I'm going to have to get this.
Oh, well...
I am not going to argue with you. I craeted a game that I would buy without hesitation...
@@ariongames8822 I have far too many of your products already, one more won't kill me. *Goes back to prepping Maelstrom Domesday*
Looks cool ;) Possible expansions can be Wilderness, Deserts and the Oceans ;) Bring Allansia alive!
Caves, forests, snow, desert temples, floating islands...

@@machfront I had a long web meeting yesterday about a boxed set of "Basic AFF" and I would be very surprised if you don't see one next year...

Where is the board?
