Lol, it's definitely a nice phone and my daily right now. Have to admit, it's just a Mi 11 with the crazy camera module so if you don't need the zoom or maybe improved low light performance then save the money and get the regular Mi 11.

I mean the camera system is better than the Mi 11, but not 2x the cost better. If you need it, then I'm sure it's good but I'd you don't use zoom like that then save your cash. Mi 10 Ultra even has an extra telephoto and I suspect will be just as good overall, but we'll see.
Yeah, I'd recommend the global version if you want Google services to run smoothly. Side loading on the Chinese version works, but regardless of settings sometimes notifications will be delayed due to the aggressive battery management. I would say if you don't need the periscope zoom, then save a lot of $$$ and get the regular Mi 11. They're pretty much exactly the same except the Ultra has the crazy camera module/rear display.
Still only 12.5.3? 12.5.4 been out already like a month ago which brought big camera improvements and I think 12.5.6 is most recent or even 12.5.8. Xiaomi is always really strange with updates distribution, specially to global units.
It's the global version, so trade offs. My Mi 11 (China release) is on 12.5.7. No big deal since GMS runs more consistently on the global version, which is more important to me right now.

The Mi 11 has a track moving objects setting, but I doubt it's as class leading as Sony's eye auto focus. If you're comfortable with manual settings, then Xperia is very good. Otherwise, the Mi 11 would be more flexible.

Lol, yeah I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want it for this price. Better move is the regular Mi 11 since its the same phone less the periscope zoom and rear display, which isn't too useful at the moment.

Yes, I've used Google Fi and Mint mobile, which both rub on T-Mobile. Only 4G LTE though.
Can't find the Global version. Had the CN version had to return it. Too much CN bloatware

Yes, entered the code in the dialer and was able to enable Wifi calling with Mint and Google Fi, both run on T-Mobile.

Nope, I have poor signal indoors and I see the VoWiFi in the status bar and calling works.
