Its a great camera. I am taking cool pictures. Can you please tell me how to download Canon's image professional software to enhance the images? I did not get any CD in the box

Hi, go to Canons Support site:
select your camera and chose downloads and software. You can find all the awIlable softwares. You have to give the serial number of your camera an than download the software.

@@areeshashafiq7548 2 years later i can confirm its good. I'm in my 4th year of multimedia school, and I want to upgrade to a better body, that's for sure. I also bought some extra lenses. But if you're just getting started or you're on a budget, it's excellent. But if you're a professional photographer, I suggest you save for a while and get a better one.

sachin krishnan just for the fact that 700d doesn't come with Wi-Fi and NFC !! I chose 1300d over 700d just for that reason :)
Yes this is true but as an option could be is that EOS700D is Compatible with Eye-Fi cards.

One Query:
Canon store people saying there is no guarantee/warranty for battery and its charger..IS IT TRUE ? as I am really surprised that why CANON being a No. 1 camera company not providing any battery warranty..

Hi Agrawal, Thanks for your comment :). I dont know the warranty condition offered in your country. Usually warranty should be valid for the complete set you purchased. It could be possible that there are some limitations on the battery but the charger should covered. I hope I could help.

I am looking to buy a DSLR but confused between Nikon D3400 and Canon 1300D. Which one would you recommend?
From my point of view I would prefer Canon 1300D. I know that D3400 offers a bit higher resolution sensor but comparing images I don't really see any real difference between the 2 cameras. (in some areas I event see more details in case of the lower resolution Canon sensor).
The main difference for me is the wireless connectivity of the 2 cameras. In case of Canon I have a fast and full Wi-Fi control over the camera (also NFC supported) not only for remote control but image transfer, Image review on my tablet. Nikon only offers a Bluetooth connection which is a much slower and a bit of headache for me using it for picture the transfer.
Maybe this is not important for you but I use it very often and it makes my life much easier when I need to upload/transfer the pictures.
Also when I use it for video I have a better experience with the Canon one.

I like the review. Many features you demonstrated. Now I am looking for this camera EOS 1300D for Stop Motion animation. These features are the best support for S.M. Animation. In this regard my question is If I want to focus a subject within 4 feet of distance. Can it be possible?

Hi unfortunately you cannot connect an external microphone to this camera. You can record sound with the built in mono microphone, or use some external recorder. Hope I could help.

Just getting started with DSLR and this Camera. Just came in two days ago. Whats the easiest way to shoot at night with NO flash??
Hi option one is to turn the dial to No Flash mode (next to the A+) Option 2 is to turn the dial to "P" mode. here the flash will be not raised automatically To raise the flash press the Q button (Quick mode) and select the "raise the flash up" option to pop up the flash. if you don't need it judt push the top to close it.
Hey..which one is a better buy. NIKON D3400 OR CANNON 1300D OR 4000D?? The requirement is for my father and I ended up with cannon hs620 compact camera, but then changed up my mind to DSLR.

I think it has the FHD at 30fps. But here it was jsut 25 as the Max.
Hi Patel, yes it can record at FHD (1080p). You also have the 30p if you need it. :) Just turn the dial to Video mode and press Menu. On the bottom of the second tab you have Video System Go there and select "for NTSC". Voila now you have the 30fps (and the 24, 60,...) I hope I could help.

Instead of asking 'which camera is best?' I think it better to ask 'which camera is best for me?' I looked at the Canon EOS 1300D and I looked at the Nikon D3400. I bought the Nikon since I do not require the wi-fi capabilities and I wanted the better specs. Best is subjective after all.

I’m looking at buying this camera used for $300 with 2 extra lenses. Do you think it’s worth that much in 2022??
How much time can record continues HD video on 1300D.?
The continuous recording time can be max 29 min. 59 sec. If the recording will reach this it will stop automatically. There is an other limit comes from the file size. If the size if the file reaches 4 GB the recording will stop. (this is coming form the file system) In both cases You can press record again and the movie will be recorded as a new file.
I found this very helpful; thank you! My T6 arrives in 3 days, so I'm getting a head start on info and tutorials. Is the Companion App only Android? I'm not finding it in the Apple app store.

After a few seconds of video recording, a text: "Movie recording has been stopped automatically" appears on the screen. How can I defeat this?

What is the best camera between SONY DSC HX400V and CANON EOS 1300D ???? Please Suggest me who is the best for Photography
Hi Raj, I don't have really experience with this Sony but they are two different category cameras. The Canon is a interchangeable lens DSLR while Sony is an all in one so called Bridge camera. Since Canon has a bigger sensor the image quality is much better specially when the light is getting lower. In case of Canon you have the flexibility to use several lenses optimizing it for different shooting scenarios. In case of Sony you have a large 50x zoom lens and that's it. Also the video quality of Canon is much better. I would definitely go for a DSLR eg Canon 1300D. If I would need an all in one solution than would look something smaller than Sony like the Canon PowerShot SX620 or similar. I hope I could help.

Hi, You can not do live streaming over Wi-Fi. The images are always saved to the memory card. It is the the security to have the images. First they are saved to the card and from there you can upload/transfer it to your phone over Wi-Fi. Hope I could help.

Really got a lot Out of your review I ordered this camera just waiting on it arriving but I bought it for vlogging. I hope it will be ok as I now see there is no microphone jack
Hi Jenniffree, It is a good camera for photo and It records nice cinematic look video with a large sensor. It also records sound but only with the built-in microphone. this means you cannot use an external microphone. You may use an external recorder or If you are looking a camera mainly for video I would recommend one of the EOS M50, EOS 80D, 77D, 800D, M5, M6 (if it fits to your budget.) They use the best technology for focusing. They have a sensor with Dual Pixel focusing. Ideal lenses for video are having STM or Nano USM focusing motors. You can of course use 1300D it will work ok but maybe not the optimal choice for video recording. I hope I could help.

In my experience some of the 3rd party flashes have some compatibility issues. Try to get some information from the seller who is selling this flash. Also maybe your local camera service could also give you some information.

I'm looking at buying this camera and can see two types. One says ''Canon EOS 1300D with EF-S18-55 DC III F3.5-5.6 Lens'' and the other says ''Canon EOS 1300D with EF-S 18-55 IS II Lens.'' Do you know what the difference is if any?
Hi the difference is in the lens coming with the camera. The version with the EF-S18-55 IS II lens includes a bit better lens. This lens compared to the other has a built in optical image stabilization (4 stop). It will help you to get rid of camera shake when you are shooting with lover shutter speeds usually in lover light environment.

Hi Mehdi, I think the 15-55 kit lens is a nice lens to start with. The next one could be a tele (EF-S 55-250) or a wide angle (EF-S10-18) depending on your preference. The 50mm is a nice lens but if you have the kit you can also cover that focal lenght. If you need a faster 50mm lens for portrait or street photography than that is your choise. (usually the prime lenses are better in quality in case you need it)

Hi, it is depending wich lens is coming with the kit. Usually one is a general zoom lens for everiday use and the other one is a Tele Zoom to get the "subject closer" Hope I could help.

I owned this and i want to know about video record . Im recording hairstyle for youtube and need to focus on hairstyle but seem af slow to focus . Should i buy 50mm f1.8 lens ?
Not really, if you buy this lens than you have to be even more precise when focusing. I would recommend using manual focus and increase light so you could record with higher aperture to have a wider focus range.

When You use the manual focusing you also have a possibility to use the focus assist function. This will magnify the image (5x, 10x) at any point of the screen to see if what you need is sharp.
At higher level cameras the speed of focusing is much more fast and precise but you would also need a higher budget to purchase.

Yes it is easy to use. you don't need a pilot licence to use to :). it also helps if you want to go more deep into photography. you can also download the companion app to your mobile and it can guide you to develop your photography.

nikon d3300 has 24 mega pixels and eos 1300d have 18mp and less fps rate than nikon d3300. but still everybody says that canon is better than nikon d3300 for photography. IS THAT TRUE AND WHY

Hi my experience is that the EOS 1300D offers more to photographers than D3300. It might have a higher resolution sensor but I still find more details in the picrures taken with the EOS 1300D than with the D3300. The higher frame rate does not really make any essential difference. EOS 1300 gives more on connectivity which is more important for me than a bit higher frame rate. Hope I could help.
