64 days clean from pain pills and fentanyl pills. Ive been an addict for 11 years. Im 31. I started doing the fent back in February, it was working for awhile and then i started doing 2 pills every hour just to feel normal and not withdrawal. I decided to get clean when my dad had a health scare. I was out looking for fentanyl pills and my dad was in the hospital. That day i flushed the rest of my pills went into withdrawals for 24 hours and checked myself into a methadone clinic as an outpatient. Best decision i ever made and im there for my dad. He had a major back surgery and is recovering just fine. You can get better. You just have to be sick and tired of being sick and tired
Now you dead stuck on a methadone clinic. That's even harder to get off of than the fentanyl. You are married to the clinic now.

I was prescribed Fentanyl patches after an accident was on them for 10 years eventually I had to be weaned off of them because they just stopped working,it took me 18 months to get off of it and it was the worst time of my life it was awful I have been clean from it for 4 years.
I hope he manages to come off it which is not easy but it can be done God Bless and good luck

Yup me too but it turned into 20 years on the patches, morphine etc. Now finally clean from them....took me several years of active trying, weening down and not fun but can be done...I'm proof 😂❤

Yeah, but when you give it all up for don't care. I'm exactly like this kid. I had opportunities as a special effect sculptor in Hollywood but got strung out on fetty and Tina instead. It sucks, but as long as there is a steady stream of drugs coming your way you don't care anymore. Think of odyssey and odyssious sailors stuck on cyrcess Island eating poppies.
At times my depression is so severe that I think about turning to drugs to numb the pain although I’ve never done drugs in my life , I just want the pain to go away .. That’s why I don’t judge anyone because we all try to numb the pain in some sort of way … I really hope I make it .

Talent doesn't mean squat if you can't take any accountability. I heard him talk about all the things he lost, and how he couldn't have known better than to take an action that took someone's life when he was 13. That may be so, but not once did I hear them mention how they took all experiences from the person they killed. If I was the family/friend of the person who died I could imagine how that might burn me...

@@Marleyandme290 the road to addiction was paved with loss after loss. An abusive relationship then my father was killed in an accident then the guys kept coming. As soon as someone would say ‘well it can’t get any worse’ it did. The did to recovery took more than a few tries. The first couple times it was to get a clean urine screen. The last time was my choice and I checked into a psych hospital. One of the doctors saw how bad I was and referred me to his associate in private practice. Been there ever since. Therapy, psych meds and consistency. The one on one therapy was exactly what I needed. In groups I’d just meet more partners in crime. Actually ditched my phone and phone numbers which helped to keep me from making calls those first 6 months. My therapist was an angel. I had to deal with the grief and loss I had been numbing. I really didn’t think therapy was gonna work and that they’d forget what I said but that wasn’t the case at all. She helped me retrain my brain and figure out how to control the things I could and how to let go of the things I couldn’t. Got my license back, eventually a part time job and rebuilt relationships and am now off most of the psych meds too. It really is a journey. There are programs that will work and the one that found me was a blessing and I’d like to think my choice to truly try brought it to me as well. I couldn’t do one more detox. Thankfully I never have since either.
Its time. I have a 14, 12, & 10 year olds. The part where he mentions the introductory to fentanyl is what i want to allow my kids to hear. It plays out like a true cautionary tale.
I feel for this young man. My heart breaks for him. I saw a few documentaries where people were praying over the drugs. It was a Vice doc. on TH-cam. The part where his friend called to see how he was doing was chilling to me. What do we do when we think we have food poisoning? We dont turn around and eat what we just believed made us sick in the first place. We suck it up until the poison has left our body. This friend, truly a demonic spirit using this friend's body as a vessel to relay the message that he needed a fix. More drugs in order to feel well again. The way he described the feeling of the second fix was also chilling to me. Describing it as something he felt come over him. Blanketing him essentially. Very dark.

If the other two want to or not, would be up to them. I see that Six is trying to recreate his family but his heart is still hurting. 28:25 i can totally relate, I played hockey my whole life, im now 52 and haven't played in almost 7 or more years, (since i shattered my heal). I lived ate and slept hockey it was my whole world for a very long time. For some strange reason I don't like to watch hockey anymore because all i can think of when im watching is not being able to play right now! It's truly heartbreaking! But what can you do? You either wallow in Misery or find something new or different to fill your time and mind! Thank God for baseball and the Yankees!!!!!!!

I'm one of the dazzling shred and sweep symphonic guitarists and sing 7 octaves, but I have absolutely no organization in what I do. I dropped music theory and playing structured music over 20 years ago. I had to reteach myself to play from the ground up at 26, and the fury was get back to where I was the fastest way possible and so I omitted the other work I had once used to get there.
*As musicians, we're now in an era where guitarists of my style make 30 second to 5 minute videos every few days of a beautiful composition they shred through after practicing it for 2 or 3 days a few hours a day, and those uploaded videos are making them very wealthy and bypassing the sickness that is the commercial entertainment "industry".*
