Pleased for you Pete and well done! I share your passion for W140 I own one for 16 years which I love more than any other S class, I too always wanted to own one since it came out in 1992, so I connect with you when I watch you express your passion for it! Watched all your clips on this carand other Mercs. Glad for you it's back, keep it going👍long live The W140!😊
Thank you. I would only part out a car if it’s un safe to fix properly but when I do that I would try to use every part on a car that can be saved. Hate to see people just toss out cars or anything for that matter. Too much waste these days
This is tears of joy. To finally get to see the final reveal of this big beast beauty is overwhelming. I salute you for your hard work and determination is a blessing to us all w140 family out here. Great job.
Bro u Nailed it I’m happy af for ya, I would say blood sweat and tears but it was mostly blood because every time I came up there to see what you were doing your hands were bloody from the edges of the car🤣🤣🤣 Remember when I busted my finger hitting the 2 x 4 with the hammer trying to pop that dent out good times
Congratulations bro. Nice job the benz looks spectacular 👌. I have the same benz. 99 s500. It has always been my favorite car. I will never get rid of it. I love the style, looks, suspension.
Great Job and video Pete, I have a 1999 S500 I would not trade for the world, only 118K miles have a cam oiler tube issue right now, but thanks to your very detailed video on that, I am able to fix that tomorrow, I am going to do the same as you, replace the one bad one, for now, see if that fixes the problem and then do all of them. Thanks again for the great videos, Pete, maybe we can meet sometime and compare cars, I am not far from you I believe, about 6 miles from Disney World.
You said you dreamed of this car,I did as well. What a beautiful car. I own a w126 560sec black on black. A w123 300 diesel with the tobacco interior 43 yrs old with with 106k on the clock everyday driver. And my just acquired w140 95 black on black lwb s class. Old mercedes are amazing. And once you figure out how to work on them you can own them forever. It's an addiction I'd say lol. Great videos man keep it up.
Yessir Pete is back y'all w140 looking better than before love this video been watching the progress since that fateful day thanks for bring us all back to life
The differences between a W223 owner and a W140 owner :- W223 owner : " If you scratch my car i'm gonna sue your ass "' W140 owner : '' If you scratch my car.......... i don't car who you are........as far as anyone concerned........ your missing ''
Beautiful car and this color wow ! What are these wheels ? I just got my car and hit a ladder on the freeway that fell of the truck in front , so I share your pain . Glad you had hope and lived! Thanks !
Hi Pete, I wonder if you have any idea, yesterday I took the valve cover gasket on the driver's side of, ( I have a few new oiler tubes) , but upon inspection, I find all of them in perfect condition, all cams look like brand new, no sign off wear anywhere., also chain tensioners and chain in great condition, now I'm thinking the ticking noise comes from the Fan clutch? is that possible? I would appreciate it if you have any thoughts on that, thanks Peter
Or could the Waterpump make a ticking noise, sorry I don't mean to be a pain, but ever since my German "super mechanic" sadly passed away, (as you know, nobody dies anymore, they just pass away) about 2 years ago I have not been able to find a reliable and "honest" mechanic again. If you could recommend someone, even in your area I would really appreciate it, Thanks again Pete
So sometimes the oil tubes can seem fine but still cause a sound. But I know a water pump can make a noise as well. Is there anyway you could record it and send me a video to my Instagram.
You mean quarter panel? And yes it’s never going to be perfect. Understand I did this using everyday tools without any experience. Point is to show to never give up on what you love. I’m guessing you didn’t watch any other videos.
@@petescarport Thats a shame if you love the car so much to destroy its value by fixing a damage that big with filler. You shold have left it alone and saved up money to let a bodyshop change the panel and trunk panel etc 😊 I mean if you can even se the damage still in a video i dont se a point in why it was done this way 😊👍🏼
Yeah your right why should anyone ever attempt to do anything or learn anything if they can just pay someone to do it. I mean I should of just let the car rot while I saved up money to fix a car that lost all its value by being hit. But thanks for watching. You can’t make everyone happy

Love your work bro
Man you did I awesome job bro!!
Very nice. How did you get the B pillar covers cleaned up? Mine look weathered/streaky and I’m not sure what product to try.
So one good way to start is using a clay bar. That’s all I have done. I plan to test out a polish on them
Luv this fu*kin' video
W140 for life!
Thank you
Change a rear light from prelifted to lift smoke :)
Well done!👌
Thank you

Thank you
I love my W140 also❤️💕❤️
From where you order parts in canada nd us
Fcpeuro.com for mechanical parts but body parts can be ruff to find. eBay is best solution
