  • I thought it would be beneficial to others (and to myself to look back on) to see how I am recovering from my intense feelings of overwhelm with stuff in my home. The journey of motherhood has been quite busy and wonderful for me over the years.
I look back on those early days of being on my own with my children (my husband was a shift worker) and I am now very, very proud of myself for surviving. I had my first 5 children in 5 years and feel like I grew up right along side them.
I spent all day, every day with them and taught them many things and now have all these kids who are taller than me who make me so proud and are so helpful and lovely. i also still have little kids and a baby who need me to keep going and not give up even if my heart sometimes feels overwhelmed.
I will NEVER say that living with clutter and too much stuff is a good idea. It just brings chaos to a person's mind.
Here's to more decluttering and letting go of past heartaches. 👏
Hello friends! My name is Katherine and together with my husband, Ben we have 11 children. We live in Australia but as a child I lived in Canada (that explains my accent).
We enjoy living simply, second hand shopping, frugal living and raising wonderful, confident and lovely children that we home school.
I am grateful for each and every one of you and I encourage you to follow along and subscribe.

I am also always open to video suggestions.
    I appreciate you!

A great video - onward and upward! Luke is ever so cute and I love his new hand-made cardigan.
