When i played as a kid into my early 20's if i wasnt putting full effort in from puck drop to the final horn no matter how long is left if we were winning or getting blown out i was going to be skating all practice or just cut from the team. I have friends playing pro in Europe and 1 in the echl who say its no different.
Well in 1996 we made it to the finals... and now that we have Queeneville, perhaps while it might not look in our favor, I see this being a start going forward to finally getting a bit more competitive for us than it's been in the past!

How could you say they didn't play well? This is one of the best performances in regards to efficiency for a team to pull. Almost no breakaways compared to game 1, a solid lead throughout the game, and great defensive play all around complimented by 2 way forwards. The panthers don't play this style of hockey so they're gonna have a hard time countering it. They rely on getting behind the Defense for fast breakaways, it doesn't work when you can't get past them for clean zone entry.
@@tblightning7420 they played exactly how they needed to. They played conservative and clean. Had the lead all game, and won. May not have been the prettiest game, but they did play well. Can they play better?..of course. Game 1 was excitement, game 2 was experience.
You either have the refs call everything, make sure penalties are even for both teams, or call nothing and people will complain. If they call everything people will just say "well you need to let them play", if they try to make the calls even for both teams there will be soft calls made to keep them even which makes calls inconsistent, and if they call nothing then people will say "well this, that, and these were penalties". There is no winning.
For real it’s so annoying how people comment this stuff when they don’t watch the game. The lighting played better because vasy was insane and tb had great blocked shots. These 2 teams and the avs are arguably the best rams in the playoffs.
Cheat, no cheat, the way this Panthers fan saw it - our guys not being able to find a way to score right somewhat negates the argument of the refs cheating... but I will say some of the decision-making from the officials was downright bullshit!
