I have an R6 mk2 and it makes using manual focus lenses so easy to use! I personally love to use Voigtlander lenses for RF mount, which removes the inconvenience of an adapter. However, this video is making me tempted to experiment with Canon's old FD lenses.
@alessandrocitterio My go-to is the Voigtlander 40mm F1.2 Nokton. It just was a revelation as it is quite sharp yet magical in its rendering, built like a tank and lovely to handle. Whatever you throw at it turns into gold, so I'm often exporting raw files with no editing whatsoever. I also use the 75mm F1.5 Nokton, which is similar but also more useful for portraits and more distant landscapes.
I have an r6ii as well, but I've found it disappointing using vintage lenses with it because the focus peaking is not very good and hard to see compared to my Nikon Z8 and ZF. It's a bummer because I love the canon colors with vintage lenses.
@@cinemaheist8 that’s interesting, I haven’t had this issue with my Canon. I was using a Sony too and the focus peaking was kinda similar. But I saw a lot of people is using the ZF with vintage lenses with amazing results. (Kinda jealous by the design of the ZF tho, I wish Canon would do the same 🥲)

@@EddySawaya8637 I would love to try the Voigtlander as well. Which focal length do you use?

@@alessandrocitterio Yeah I think canon and sony are pretty similar, and I never would have known how good it can be if I hadn't bought Nikon'
