  • Thanks for watching the Active Response Kit - Vehicle Kit video! This video will go over a few different options for having emergency weapon systems and kit in your vehicle, whether it’s to protect yourself in an emergency situation or to sustain yourself if stranded in your vehicle.
Most importantly, don’t be stranded without any equipment in an emergency.

As a paramedic considering a move to law enforcement, I approve of your D3CRM medical kit. Ive been looking into this rig for this specific application to attach to an outer carrier. Thanks for the thorough walk through.

Yeah this is a great option. When I used it on Patrol It held my taser, OC, and radio, flashlight, medical and FI cards/notepad with pens. Took a lot off my belt to not Jack up my hips or back too much

Like, really like, the concept and all the thought you put into it! Thank you!
As a R-LEO I restrict my protective efforts to me and mine and the protection of my Brother Officers should they be out alone and need cover. I'm old school on that!!!!! I may not know you Brother, but I will fight and die with you if necessay! They probably don't stress that in the Academies or FTO anymore, but...
Along with my R-LEO wife, we are either well armed or heavily armed often to include an AR or a Benelli m4 or a Beretta 1301 LTT. Lots of ammo!!!! There are three reasons for this. You never know? Just in case? Anything can happen anywhere at any time.
We take this very seriously and I will be adding some items that you had. I must admit that I am not as "medical" orientated as you? You are probably right, but... My F150, like yours, is limited to underneath the rear seat area.
    Great content!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW: The best info you gave relates to the quality toilet paper and some wipes. As old Deputy Sheriffs, that is a must!!!! But then again, there were not cameras everywhere back then...

Thanks for the comment! Yeah the storage under the rear seats in ford trucks is limited. I really have to pick and choose! And YES! The toilet paper has saved my bacon, many times on and off duty! Toilet paper and duct tape have gotten me through a lot lol!

We have the Bear independent adventure first aid kits in vehicles. Only have a gun in vehicle 3 months out of the year. Hunting seasons. I carry cheap plastic dollar store table cloths in vehicles for game. I carry an old O.D. wwii rucksack for 20 years now. I keep a game dressing field kit in back pack plus other survival items in it. Plus cards. Something to do if you have to pass time.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! This video is only the stuff I have in my vehicle for an emergency situation involving an armed response, so it doesn’t show everything in my vehicle. That being said, I’ve been meaning to make sure I’ve got a decent water source in my car at all time. I like the idea of having the playing cards. Never know when it could come in handy!

I've been looking at the Unobtanium Gear DR-LV rig lately for a low-vis response kit to keep in my car, I agree plates just aren't a practical option when you have limited space. Not sure how I feel about soft armor yet, so I'm omitting it for now.

I’ll have to look into that! The way I see it, I’d rather have some protection rather than none. The soft armor won’t do anything to protect against rifle rounds, but it’ll stop many pistol round effectively. That being said, while it will stop the pistol round, it’s still gonna mess you up, breaking ribs, possibly internal bleeding. But still better than nothing IMO.

Which muzzle device is this. My renegade plus stays in the safe just based on how loud it is. I have a 10.5 version with the 3 prong and it cycles smoother than my 16 inch lwrc with a2 birdcage flash hider. Pof is just special

The muzzle on this is the standard 3 port brake. That’s what I had when I filmed this video but now I have an SOLGW Nox flash hider which is dead air keymo compatible. Smoothes it out within the big boom of the muzzle brake
