Ok... After getting 20mins into the video I can hear a culmination of many bands, Dream Theater, Angra/Almah are the ones that currently come to mind but there is so many more. Glad youtube suggested some good for once!

I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm the same - I've been stuck loving mostly Dream Theater for a long time and always felt I should branch out as a listener and I'm liking what I'm hearing here with this band.

Some of THE best and memorable guitar solos in metal! And not to mention that tone is money.
After listening to this music for a hundred times, I still get goose bumps and tears of emotion. I am glad that I still get the necessary soul food at the age of 58. The strength of Pagan's Mind is that they form a great team and remain modest.

This is ridiculous. I come from rock'n'roll/punk, used to steer clear of most tunes more than 4 minutes long and I'm close to have watched this show all the way through, utterly amazed, gobsmacked at times at the sheer level of musicianship of this band. Absolutely ridiculous. Would love to see them live myself one day.

+JohnDoeSchmoe this is indeed upscaled. All cameras were 1080p or lower. However we used a comprehensive algorithm to upscale (this took 2 days to render) and with TH-cam's compression, it looks much better than the 1080p version from TH-cam, we think. :) But you're very welcome!!

How did I NOT know about this band? Wow. Original songs that sound ORIGINAL. The prog genre is so crowded, and Pagan's Mind stands out from all the rest. Hope for a new album soon.
Omaha Metals Shouldn't be long now. There's been talk of a new album in the works. I've been a diehard fan for almost ten years and they have never disappointed with anything they have released. I've never heard a band that has gotten me fired up this consistently for this long. I'm almost starting to get worn out on their music, but the new album should fix that. So much talent in one band. A lot of bands usually ride on one or two members, but not these guys. Fucking gods.

Its not a damn joke, I got shivers all over my body listening to these guys...up there with bands like Kamelot, Vandenplas, Vision divine, Circus Maximus, Stratovarius, etc, etc. Only 4k view...something is really wrong with this world...

I found this video through Floor Jansen whom I've just discovered by watching my favorite Dutch tv show De beste Zangers. By digging on more info about Floor, I got to know Nightwish, Revamp and Northward with this guitar player and love it. And al of a sudden I got to this band. OMG! This brings back memories to my teen years in de '80, where I mostly listened to (hard)rock. This singer reminds me to the singer of the rockband TNT

Having a pro shot and mixed concert of these guys performing Celestial Entrance in its entirety is amazing. I can't believe it took me this long to find this. Celestial Entrance is a fucking masterpiece.
Holy shit dude that hype man at the beginning of the video is intense. Every metal band that's this good deserves to be introduced like this at every show they play.
I agree, that hype man did a great job, the voice and raising pitch, perfectly delivers excitement the band deserve to get their energy-exchange going.
The "hype man" is actually Nathan Block, who promoted this event (among many others at ProgPower USA). He's a good friend to the Pagan's Mind camp!

I'm so glad I discovered this band for myself. Amazing songwriters here and they sound exactly as good as their studio albums. Really love this band, especially the Enigmatic Calling album.

What I wouldn't give to see them live.....soon as they start touring again and COVID travel restrictions are lifted, I'm flying out to wherever I have to to see Pagans Mind live. They are in the top 3 of my lifetime favourite bands - EVER.

If you're in USA you wouldn't hear of them. American people think that Metallica and Megadeth are metal, ok? So no hope for people there. I am eternally grateful for my Finnish friends - who have given me very wise counsel on metal music since the mid 90's - for telling me about Pagans Mind - in 2000! Yes, I have been listening to them that long - every day. They tend to pale most every other metal band in comparison.
good find .i found them prob. 2009..infinity divine was my first intro to them. .celestual & enigmatic have to be 2 of my fav albums ever.. circus maximus first album is stellar as well. dream theater is great live too.the talent some musicians have is mind bending.

This is one hell of show put on by Pagans Mind. From start to finish top class musicianship, showmanship and every second a pleasure to watch. I have lost count how many times i have watched this top class 👍👍👌👌🤘🤘
I look at all of the musicians and I wonder what each of your story is. When you started playing, influences, how the band members met, successes ....failures. To be this good you guys have gone through a lot, sacrificed things...etc. Would love to see an interview of each member on a video to follow and I am sure your fans would too.

I remember falling in love with the song Orisis' Eyes way back and wondered why none of my friends had ever heard of the band.
After watching this here more than once (on my computer with a 23" LCD screen), I bought the blu-ray of this and wow! The experience on my home theater system (5.1 audio and 60" HD LED)is intense!!! As close to really being there as I've experienced with a live DVD/blu-ray. With other 5.1 music vids I've heard, most of them don't get the volume levels of the various speakers right, so that either the audience is way too loud (like Blind Guardian's DVD), or the music sounds muddy, etc. This one is positively stunning (even the main menu music is thrilling). If you have a reasonably decent home theater system (mine is nothing special), and you've calibrated your speakers with a sound meter, I strongly recommend buying the disc and cranking it with the 5.1 audio track!
OMFG... Like all days I put TH-cam in my work computer and in this case I went for some Jorn live, and next were this video with the same guitar player. I'm amazed by the music and musicianship of this band, and I confess I'm a bit embarrased for not knowing this band! Cheers from Argentina, you have a new fan!

this band is the combination of my most favorite metal genres ever progressive and power metal, the vocals are amazing, the drumming is fantastic, the guitar solos aren't from this plain of reality, everything about this band is great hope they dont stop

Just an amazing discovery for me, thought I have heard all the conceptual hard rocks album out there until I found this live recording. Now I got Pagan´s Minds albums to live with many many years ahead. Stunning, just a stunning performance.
