Nowadays, people simply considered children as a burden. And it become more worse with child free thing. I mean, if you can enjoy your life and all your money for yourself, why bother to disturb your peaceful life by having a children?
This trend is even rising in a country without crazy work culture like Japan. People simply become more and more individualistic.

My personal headcanon is that La+ allowed herself to be shackled. Why? Because the Demon is not exempt from the rules of the universe. It does not have free will, it's just a puppet that's aware of the strings and that's honestly the most torturous fate imaginable. She knows in advance every action she will take over thousands, hundreds of thousands of years. It's like her entire life is an endless play and she's not allowed to deviate from the script, *ever.*
Unsealed La+ is basically Doctor Manhattan and she *hates* it. She'd rather be weak with at least some perception of freedom than all-powerful yet the most powerless of all.
