It seems she was told that if she streamed on youtube then youtube would recommend her streams more and her shorts would not be recommended, so she started streaming on Twitch in order to keep her TH-cam channel focused on shorts.

The only thing I can think of that they can do is tell la+ to stop doing shorts, but that is something that she doesn't want to do to the point that she tried twitch just so she can "fix" the algo of her shorts. This is technically a YT algorithm issue in regards to shorts

Just because you're getting a bigger salary doesn't mean you're spending any less. In fact, I find that your spending goes up proportionate to your income.

@@OldMarius-gn5kk having gone from poverty-like conditions (and seeing other's in similar situations do the same) proportional to income increases are common to most people outside of those who had to learn how to be good with money from a young age.. the sooner in life you started in a poverty-like situation seems to drastically affect your view of money.. and by contrast, the later in life, the more likely you are to lose that sense of value.

in my country uber is much cheaper... gas , water and electricity could cause you half of your salary... it's sad but most people here who are minimum wage earners are literally cannot afford to live or even have a day off.

I'm hopeful she will improve her situation eventually, but she clearly needs external guidance. She's genuinely very polite and supportive to other people but unfortunately doesn't really follow their advice most of the time despite how beneficial they would be to her.

It is EXTREMELY rare for a young person to actually take unsolicited advice from an older, more experienced person because they always think they know best how to handle everything. It is one of the greatest "what the fucks" of humanity is how young people completely disregard their elders and just do their own thing and then by the time they get to that age themselves they realize they should've listened earlier without having to learn the hard way, then they desperately try to help the younger people avoid their own mistakes and the young people just go "lul okay boomer". And the cycle repeats yet again.

she does have saving, she send a lot to her mother to manage her money but those money are dead cold (unless emergency or whatever it is probably invested somewhere that can't be take out as u like).
What she means by "having no money" means that has no cash available to use "right now", something like billionare that said: oh fuck i have no money.... what they means is "no cash at hand" not "no assets or investment or loan".
Also, the Laplus and Raden of "no money" are very different. Raden was dirt poor not even asset or emergency money... Lap in the otherhand has it but can't take it as use it as she likes. *Insert we are not the same meme here*.
@@Star5aII I have tried, but I also don't want to be a nuisance to anyone and spam in the comments so I only do it twice on every stream. I have also posted about it on Twitter using DeepL and Google Translate asking her fans to please tell her about it, though it has barely gotten any reception.
Some of her friends do multistream already, so I have faith she will find out soon. Of course, we must respect her choice if she doesn't want to do it. Her happiness comes first.

Multistreaming would resolve many of her issues, but I don't want to risk losing her happiness and feel discomfort about streaming regularly on TH-cam again.

Laplus very much seems like a young person who hasn't learned how to properly budget their money yet. This is a really important skill to learn in life and the earlier that you learn it the less likely you'll be to put yourself in crushing debt that you have to work years to clear. No..not like I'm speaking from personal experience or that I'm still working off this debt every paycheck with a slightly sad expression on my face every week when I see my paycheck and know that half of it is automatically gone towards debt repayment and the other two thirds are for bills.
Whenever I got ubereats that would be my only meal of the day, maybe for 2 days :skull: It's just way too expensive.

In all honesty she should come back to TH-cam than twitch since Twitch takes extra compared to TH-cam. Also i do think she lost a bit of vierwers cause of the switch.
YT also has the benefit of ad revenue through VODs. Where Twitch you can only make money while you're live. I agree with the whole viewership switch. Most people expect Holomem to stream on YT. I legit never see her livestreams anymore cause I don't see her VODs on my subscription page, and I rarely go on twitch during the times she's live.
If you mean live viewers, yes, she has lost a substantial amount. But she's more comfortable having a smaller audience watching her. On the other hand, her TH-cam channel hasn't stopped growing at all and her videos are actually having more views now.
Although I will say I prefer multistreaming because it would archive the VODs. However, I respect Laplus' decision if she doesn't want to do it for some reason even though it would resolve many of her ongoing issues.
Problem is someone from staff gave her really bad advice regarding shorts. she was popping off on shorts and someone told her channel is now shorts centric, which it will be, for the shorts shelf, but if she can also get a ton of likes on her Live streams than it will be good for her Livestreams and VOD watching later

Laplus does stream on TH-cam sometimes, mostly for sponsorships and karaoke. She decided to focus most of her streams on Twitch instead because the games she plays are more popular there and she feels more comfortable having a smaller live audience.
Also, you earn basically nothing from shorts and she hasn't been making them for a while. Instead she's making more videos and stream highlights, which she always wanted to do since debut and prefers over streaming, although she has gotten more comfortable with streams again recently.

@@DaimonAnimations She's barely earning money out of Twitch, has been releasing many song covers, which all holomem have to pay for themselves; has recently lost a rather substantial amount organizing a Mario Kart tournament she couldn't monetize because of Nintendo's policies, had to pay for a medical treatment because of a nodule on her vocal cords and overall has a lot of expenses, especially on UberEats.
It's important to note she actually does earn quite a lot with her salary from Cover, but she willingly gives most of it to her family because she cares about their wellbeing and is aware of her tendency to waste too much money. She also saves some of it on credit cards. All in all, she will always have enough to afford basic necessities and streaming equipment, but things can only get worse if she doesn't make a few changes.

Shorts are garbage money. They're only really useful for trying to lure people to the rest of your content - which obviously doesn't work well for her since that is already difficult to do AND she's over on Twitch.

If only she knew about multistreaming...It's really unfortunate how Twitch approved of it not even a month after Laplus made her decision to focus on Twitch, a lot of her problems that are prevalent right now could have been avoided.
At least her mental health has improved quite a lot since then so in retrospect, it ended up being a good choice. Only thing I have against it is that she doesn't archive the VODs anywhere, forcing fans to watch them illegally reuploaded somewhere else if we want to watch the whole stream.

Plus, most of the games she plays are more popular on Twitch than TH-cam and being there also works as a way to avoid her antis, which have thankfully stopped bothering her for the most part. Her mental health has also improved a lot since then.

actually, all of them get a salary split thats based on how well all of HoloPro are doing. So as all of them improve, they all benefit. But yes it is also a business (they do ofc get additional personal share from streams/personal income off merch etc)
Raden was practically broke when she started and was open about it on Twitter, and Okayu had that thing recently where she basically had to get a loan from Cover against her salary to pull off a project. It's not that farfetched a talent might be short on cash at a given time.
