@@ramenrider.mp4 hay man what are those things called where u plug them in to the dash to light up the display on it haveing a hard time finding the ones u have
Crazy amount of stripping to do just to change a headlight lamp, very badly designed. I owned the much earlier Honda CH250 Spacey from which the Helix was derived and it was much easier to change the lamps.
You don't have to strip all that just to get to the headlight - you can get to the back of it just removing the ignition cover. However, stripping as much as was shown in the video certainly gives you a lot more room to work.
Synth music is perfect for a Helix video!!
haha gotta keep it era specific
Amazing what a difference they make. Enjoyed watching!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. This is the year that i start with some safety mods.
Hell yeah!!
Well, I just performed this upgrade, and it's amazing!
@@ChaplainKC awesome!!
Thanks for posting these videos you inspired me to replace mine and they look a lot better especially the dash I’m working on the headlight now
Hell yeah!!
Nice upgrades, do you have a video at night time? I think the dash will hurt your eyes with that brightness.
I don’t but it’s really not bad at night I’ll make a short video soon to answer this
@@ramenrider.mp4Awesome! Also wondering how the headlight looks! Your Helix looks amazing.
@@MarktplaatsKoopje there’s a before and after at the end of the video
@@ramenrider.mp4at night time* ;) Will follow!
What is that seat, looks nice with a backrest?!
What bulb Britney’s did you use on the dash? It was a incredible transformation
at the end of the video u can see the number in a list also its in the description
How did the current draw of upgrade compare with that of the original lights? Did it cause any problems with the battery or charging?
Not at all everything runs like a dream most LEDs draws less than regular bulbs
thanks... Question.. To replace the turn signals..what part needs to be removed?
Thanks for your time, great video 🤙
My pleasure!
Thank you for the video I need to replace my headlight my low beam doesn’t work!
Glad it helped!!
Have you had any long term issues with heat from the LED?
Nope they run a lot cooler than normal bulbs and now a days they have an internal fan built in the housing
where did you find that drivers back rest!?
It’s a utopia seat it comes with it
Any plans on doing your turn signals?
not really theyre bright enough plus coming off a chopper with no lights i hardly ever use them haha
Hurry up and move into the house next to me so you can do this on my Helix...thanks in advance.
🤣🤣🤣
I want a helix so badly 😭

Yeah it is annoying but still such a great bike
How often do you expect to change the headlight bulb? Once?
@@AlstarPalmer most led bulbs last several years so maybe every 5 years?
