Hi guys, love the channel. We’ve also got an Escape 674. Can I ask what make and model your roll out awning is and how wide the roof mounted part is? ( I’m guessing it’s a Thule Omnistor 6300 and is 4.23m wide 😃) Thanks 👍
Hi Roddy! Thanks for the comment! It was prefitted when we bought the van new, so I don't have measurements. I'm pretty sure you're right about the make and model, the width sounds correct too. I could go and measure it if there was a particular part you wanted me to measure? FYI, there's a video of me putting it up and down here if it's of use: th-cam.com/video/-m3XmNut-QE/w-d-xo.html
@@2.4inaVan Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Just need the total width of the roof mounted part since Thule offer various options 4m, 4.25m and 4.5m. No rush for the measurement. Thanks again 👍
NOOOOOO never stay on a motorway Aire, always use an Aire in the towns villages because they are a very different. most are free and you can empty your black & grey water too..There are thousands of them all over Europe, over 8000 are in France..👍👍
Another excellent video so natural and relaxed and your daughters specs. look great .
Thanks David 😊 I'll let her know

I completely agree. We avoided staying in motorway Aires the whole time we were in France.
@@2.4inaVan ohhhh, sorry I wasn’t trying to be a know it all, I wasn’t sure if you knew about the Aires.. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@thenoworriesnomad I didn't think you were :-) useful information for anyone else reading the comments too!
