What I will say is that if you are interested in practising in any country, familiarise yourself with the laws, what they say and what will be required of you to practice. Learn about the key things that are happening in the environmental law space there (i.e issues, policies, current cases etc ) and who the key players are. I think that at the very least can get you going.
40hours on average. However, days can be different depending on what's happening around that time - sometimes you will have to work longer and on weekends too but it's not always the case for me.
