This month, I finally managed to find some extra time to get out and record an EXCLUSIVE VIDEO - no clips, no audio commentary - an actual walk! Or two actually... 2 historical walks around the city of Exeter. It was going to be 2 videos but the second walk was quite short so I thought, what the hell, lets give you 2 walks in one!

Haha.. it was an interesting walk. The walled city walk I did last time was probably better though I'd say. Nice city Exeter.

Yea, its a great city for spotting old buildings in amongst the new. The walled city walk that I did previously is a good one too (link in video description)

Been thinking about the City these last few weeks... So it was great to get this unexpected visit 👍 Exeter really has changed a lot since I've known the place... What they've done down on the waterfront & canal/docks area is outstanding. Anyways... The walk from the dock down the canal, around the estuary to Starcross - The Warren and on to Dawlish is rather nice albeit flat. The Guy from the Dawlish Live Cam channel did a vid on that one if I remember rightly... Bla, bla, bla...

Thank you for this video. I am from Exeter and live here now. The Cathedral green and The Quay are fantastic places. Loves this video... Next time you are in Exeter you should check out Northernhay Gardens if you haven't done so already. I can't remember if you did from watching your previous Exeter walks.
I think I may have visited northernhay Gardens during my Exeter walled walk video. It's a great little city, and a change in pace for SoN but I quite like having things to spot during a walk. Cheers for watching.

I did the tunnels there. It's a good excursion. I played Rugby and rowed against Exeter University many yonks ago. It's a very interesting city.. Two of my uncles, cousins and a brother went to the Naval college Dartmouth. Collingwood?Nice one Trev.

I've only been to Exeter once for work so didn't really get a chance to explore it as much as I'd liked, maybe another trip is on the cards!

Being local (ish) I enjoy these Exeter walks Trev. Have you even been in the Exeter tunnels? Thats well worth a visit but I think they may be closed at the minute.

Liked that little Trev, I never really explore Exeter, might just do that now. How long would you say each walk was?
Not very long at all John. Couple hours each. You can find the guides online to print off, or foe 6 or 7 quid there's also a treasure trail which was quite good, too which leads you around the medieval wall looking for clues at the same time. They are great fun.
Cheers Trev, might check them out. I’ve done the treasure trails before I would really suggest the treasure trail for Dartmouth, that was pretty good!
