The 6th story about the narrator losing her mother really got to me.
I lost my mother to leukemia when I was twelve, and I was really lost after that. I cried non-stop, and kept wondering why we weren't going to the hospital to visit her, and why she wasn't coming home.
Until now, I still can't accept that she's gone, and would give anything to have a sign from her, or see her even once...
I really miss her...

I’m so sorry for your internet troubles, but I know how you feel. Since Covid has sent everyone home for work, my electric kicks on and off ALL THE TIME. 😳 usually when I’m doing one of my 250,000 daily reports first thing in the morning….. the power company has been out to check the meter, of course nothing is wrong. The condenser in our air conditioning unit has been replaced twice, I have a fridge that has quit working and now my hubby’s PlayStation won’t come on right after the power surge of course….. so I laugh about it so I won’t cry. These big companies just don’t understand when we call and ask them to hurry up, please. 🙏🤗

I had a similar thing happen that happened to the guy in the church. My boss had died a few months before what happened, and I was covering events that day and decided to go ahead and run out the digital pictures. I’d been there about an hour by myself when I heard the coffee pot rattling! I realized it was the time of day he normally put on a fresh pot when he was alive. I booked it outta there as fast as I could!! 😂
