That second story was a jumble disaster of a mess. Not by mort, but by the person who wrote it half the time I wasn’t even sure what the hell they were talking about. I kept getting confused. The only part that made sense was Ed account. All the rest of it the way they wrote it was jumbled up and I don’t know what else to say Lol.
Hahahaha. The first story. I, too, lived in the foothills of the SBD mountains. In Yucaipa and Cherry Hill. My sister still lives in Running Springs, my other sister in Colton, and my niece lives on t he mountain in Crestline. I have hiked, skied, and explored the mountain on both sides. I even spent 2 months at off the path camp ground in arrowhead and have camped off trail at the top in Big Bear. There are no Big Foot monsters there. If there were, one of us would have seen them. I live in Maine now and I can tell you this. The woods here are endless. 90% of the state is woods hahaha. There are cryptids here (not Big foot but something close to a dogman) there are none in the Big Bear / Arrowhead area. If the writer of story one reads this. Believe me, there are no truly desolate areas there hahahaha. Wanna see real woods? Check out Maine, New Hampshire, Northern Mass, Vermont, and Upstate NY! 😂😂😂 So you were born in 87? My daughter was born in 86 hahahaha. It was over populated then and is worse now.
My sister graduated from Yucaipa High! I was born in LA in ‘88 but went to Elsinore High. I’m still confused on how OP is considering himself a “city boy” being from the I.E. though lol
