As a mobile up-and-coming keyboardist/pianist, I would very much appreciate this configuration. But would kindly ask for a 5,000 watt amp (7,000 peak) amp instead of the 3,000 please.
@ as a sound engineer, if a 3000 watt system doesn’t do it for you then you are deaf. Anything bigger than that and you should be going thru a house PA anyway
back when I worked at guitar center, a t-shirt would never be accepted. My how times have changed. We were smashing sales records all the time too though.
Thanks for the video.. These seem exciting. BUT! You guys didn't ask the MOST important question.. How's the throw? The EVolve 50's absolutely die off after about 25 feet for dancing.. Do these do better?
Dang, if only they made the sub's plastic top cap a bit more sloped to keep drinks off of it. You all know what drunk folks do, and if a half-full glass falls over in the center, the tops are getting cut when the connecting rail in the post shorts out the signal.
Not even. And the EV 70 and 90 are way to big and bulky. Defeats the purpose. You can’t compare a column array with a 12” sub to an array with a 15” or 18”. Completely different voicing. You would need to compare it to the old 50 and QSC would win night and day.
@@sr80bassguy EV 70 is a two way system which is terrible for vocals, OK if you just play music. They are insanely over priced at 2700, 1000 more to go from a 12" to 15" sub. There is no market for the EV 70 and 90. You would be crazy to pay close to 8k for a pair of EV 90, when you could buy a flagship EKX or SRX point source setup that would blow them away and you lose the portability part with the EV 90. Plus they are based off the ELX series with no fan and lower end components.

exactly right. Probably not great- too narrow.
Where are the totes for the subs?
A lot of money to not have a sub case
Didn’t that guy used to work for presonus?
We need a 15 inch version!!
No you don’t
@sr80bassguy why not? I'm a DJ and have RCF J8's already. I'm trying to have a larger option.
@ these have incredible low end for the size and you can easily add a sub to it to really crush.

I heard them at NAMM '25 but the EV Evolve 70 or 90 blew these away

@ couldn’t have said it better myself
2000 $ for what? 😅 for plastic? And 750 RMS?😅
Why no tote for the bottom/sub included? Please explain.
No idea why it hasn’t got the type of cover that Yamaha uses where the sub is protected and the poles /tops go in the same bag.
