Just bought this wallet on Amazon and watched the video to make sure I was happy with what I'm getting, and I think I will be! I have a slim Travelambo wallet that I really like, but I'll need room for more cards and stuff. It's good to have an extra wallet anyways! For a college student like myself, you can't go wrong with wallets at this price level. I think I made the right choice and I'll share more as soon as possible.
A very nice wallet indeed. Functional, simple very reasonably priced and nothing unnecessary added. Although I would have liked to have seen a retractable strap. I love that deep midnight blue. I actually ordered a Ted Baker Kroning of the same colour. Should be with me soon. 😍
anyone who buys this wallet consider the cut angle at the ID place. I bought this and I'm always taking my ID out because that angle hides my DOB and if I flip it 180° it flips my face. I have a Georgia ID btw.
You can be assured that any hand-made wallet maker will not use it. Many of those out there who not only don't do it, but can do a custom wallet for you too if you'd like.
RFID for wallet skimming is useless and a marketing push. My feelings about it are all in th-cam.com/video/QL2HEgOFQxc/w-d-xo.html and I bring it up every time a company tried to push it as a feature.
I saw that you reviewed the ikepod wallet but it just showed it out of the package. I'm interested in the bellroy type wallet and ikepod is a cheaper version. Although, I'm wondering if ikepod is cheaper because it's worse quality and will break overtime. Is bellroy worth the extra money or is the ikepod wallet a good quality wallet?
We have a comparison video between the IKEPOD and "like" Bellroy wallets coming up. Between the two, for the price the IKEPOD is very good by way of features and cost to value. But from a quality perspective the Bellroy is better, but the price reflects it.
Thanks Mark. I have been staying away from wallets with ID windows. Nine out of 10 times you have to take your ID out of the pocket. And seeing ID Windows, some are not executed well. I have 2 Serman wallets but not to the 5.0 model but the 5.S model. This one doesn't have the ID window. Great wallet but the RFID lining doesn't hold up long term.
Hi Ali, I agree completely on both items. I've never had a wallet where someone has allowed me to keep my ID in while showing it, I always need to take it out, so the plastic window is worthless and will go bad quickly over time. Same thing with RFID material. Companies like to tout it as a feature because it makes the wallet cheaper to manufacture. They know it's worthless, but if it keeps their costs down and increases their profit, then they're all for it.
Yep. I wont even buy a wallet with a plastic id window anymore, they are super annoying. They always seem to make the card difficult to remove even if they have a little thumb slot, and I have had non laminated cards completely transfer to the plastic

QOTD: ⚡Mass-manufactured wallets can be good. What has been your experience with mass-produced wallets?
I have an SB minimalist wallet in my rotation. Zero complaints, especially at it's price point.
@@rutlegs Yes, the price point fits really well with the quality level of the wallet and construction is very good.
Is there a place in iraq?plaes
I’ve had this wallet for months now and it’s my go to. I’ve tried to switch but this wallet tops all.
Great to hear! What do you like about it most and is there anything you don't like, a feature you don't use like you thought you would, etc?

I love Bellroy wallets even though I am a leather crafter. They work and last well or at least that has been my experience.
Agree !
Just what i was looking for. I was looking for a great channel that gave me detailed information. Thank you sir.
Glad to help!

I REALLY like the metal corner on that model, very unique and a style marker of Ted Baker wallets.
Love the new succinct intro.
Glad you like it!
Great review, my only comment is you said you put in 9 cards but it was actually 11.
Even better!! 😁
For $30, one would have thought price would be 5 stars.
I waffled on that a bit, couldn't quite bring myself to it, it's so close....
Is there a higher quality alternative you can recommend with similar capacity, usability, and features?
Thats what I want to know too! 👍🏻
Very nice design, aesthetic and function wise.
Indeed, price to value is really good with this one.
I’ll probably put money inside that card slot with the tab just for easier access

Which version is best?
Is there a go-to company that doesn’t implement rfid protection? Trying to find one but no luck so far

Nice review. Good price and value.
Agreed!
This would be great if it didn't have the ID pocket - horrible personal experiences with those as they yellow after a while.
Yes, they do, and I can't remember the last time a place who asked for my ID allowed me to keep it in my wallet, I always have to take it out.
Wait why is rfid protection a bad thing? I thought it was a joke when I first heard it on your channel

Thanks for watching!
Can u do like the top 5 best money clip that can hold like 50-100 bills? J/t 4 traveling for curtain countries to exchange high value
i went one wallet black plaes?
Am shocked and even annoyed at that RFID on the quick access slot. Who does that? Weird. Nice wallet though. 😀👍🏻
Yes, very stupid. Tap cards are so prevalent that having at least one slot to do that is a requirements these days.
Agree. This is the one pocket that should not have that lining.

I LOVE THE TEXAS BROWN
Please review Little King Goods. Their quality is insanely good.
Thanks David, we have their v2 wallet in inventory so we'll move it up the review timeline.
Kennen Sie zufällig FOCX Wallet? könnten Sie eventuell ein Video maxhen
Thanks Alex, we do have the FOCX wallet and it's on our soon to be reviewed list.
Why booing rfid protection ?
I'm a wallet snob - Don't like machine stitching, pull tabs or plastic ID windows.
Agreed. After working with so many wallets you do get a feel between utility, function and quality.
I agree, but when done right, pull tabs do not have setbacks as most fear.
And coins?
There’s no place specifically designated to hold coins.
Hello. I'm from Iraq where I want one
