Groot is the figure from GOTG 3 that I’m looking forward to the most and preordered him on Pulse before the other figures. Got the BAF wave coming from Amazon this weekend and I’m super excited

I think the baby raccoon is baby Rocket from a flashback, we see a shot of him as a baby in the trailers I'm pretty sure.

I think that extra long arms or a different head would have served this figure better than the wings. Still a sweet figure I’m glad to have.

The figure looks great. "Iam Groot" must also mean he works out.😁
The bubbles and soft sculpt look like a production mishap. Or maybe he has woodworm.
Like MCU Collector I don't love the single jointed elbows and knees.

Odd that they went with wings and not the extra arms/branches that were shown in the trailer. Maybe a little Doc Ock or Agent Venom, but I’d prefer those to wings. (Admittedly, I haven’t seen the movie, but why not both?)

Groot doesnt have lips like that in the movie, hasbro gave him human lips that stand out like a sore thumb bc they also painted them a dark brown and that makes him look so weird to me

That’s what I noticed with this figure. He looks off, like the head sculpt doesn’t look like him in the movie with those lips and pupils. His mouth should be flatter and eyes completely black. Plus the brown color scheme is too dark and he should be light brown.

I think that raccoon is a little small. I personally think rocket will die and Groot will take his son on adventures. But that a total guess haha. It'll be fun to come back here once we've seen the film 😅

I know you release these reviews when you get these figures which is before the movie releases nowadays it seems like. Any thought of doing like a part 2 or post watch review of them like if that was suit of that character was the right one do use, justifying some of the accessories it comes with, what they got right, what they could have done better, etc.
