Hahahaha I know, right? Blue Tron always was to me the cultured and sophisticated amongst decks packing Urza lands. Unfortunately we don't have mindslaver in Premodern, but this deck definitely has some pretty serious U Tron vibes to it!
I understood that people hated Tron in pauper, just like in Modern. In Premodern the second you play a Tron land your opponent will be like "Oooooh! What are you cooking with over there!?" 😆
At the end of every video I do a little wrap up where I discuss what I liked or disliked about the video and potential changes I would like to explore. Unfortunately this video was recorded like 4 months ago or something, so I don't remember exactly how I felt right after I played it.
Thanks for watching! Honestly, you could cut the Moxen from my Oath Terravore deck and you would still have a pretty great deck in your hands. If I did I'd add 2 Brushland to finish the full 4, and then probably a 2nd Enlightened Tutor and something else meta dependant (maybe an Argivian Find or something along those lines).
Thanks for answering! What do you think about adding exploration instead? Definitelly mox seems stronger. I will try out what you've suggested. Thanks a lot!@@fpawluszmtg
I could see trying Exploration. However, the whole point of playing Mox is that it a) allows you to play one of your many powerful 2 drops on turn 1 and b) fixes your mana. Exploration does neither of those things, so at that point I'd much rather play a better card instead.@@JacekFrankowski-j5z
I think it may die to Dust Bowl more than to Wasteland (unless your opponent draws 2+ wastelands quickly). I was playing Dust Bowl vs this deck once, and my opponent answered back with Teferi's Response.... I did not win that one!
@@fpawluszmtg I actually won some games with the deck again playing like you do - I was running it like Boomer Tron in Modern (always aiming to form Tron) but just chilling and digging for answers to the current boardstate and letting Tron just happen is the way to go - thanks for making me a better player 😁
@@Rabid_Wombat Awesome, glad that you liked it! To be fair, this was Caleb's list, I am just the messenger! And I 100% agree that his approach is the best one.
Tron without eldrazi and Karn liberated is the tron that would make Richard Garfield proud.
Honest Tron is good Tron!
Love the title xD
So curious about the build because U Tron was one of my favorites decks when Modern started :)

Thank you so much for this Deck. Loved playing it and took it to t8 at a local tournament only loosing to the rock...
This is Caleb's deck, I'm just trying to channel his awesomeness! Happy you liked it, it's a ton of fun!
Really impressed with your 4-1 and really loving the list :)
List is a lot of fun! It's a control deck with a clunkier floor, but a much, much higher ceiling. You go from 0 to 100 REALLY quick, haha!
tron in pauper is quite good too.

What changes would you make with this Tron list?

You said that you thought 4 Strokes of genius was too much and that you would play FoF. Would you go 2 and 2?@@fpawluszmtg
Hi, I love your content! I was just wondering if you could build Oath of Druids deck without Mox Diamonds? I would love to see that !

Old players told me that once Masticore was a format killer 😂
I should bring back prison tron 😂
Masticore is an absolute banger, and a real staple in Premodern for sure. They really don't make them like they used to: with drawbacks!
How did I miss this vid?
No idea, but glad you found it!
Is it comparable to UW stiflenought regarding power level?
Not really, Stiflenought is one of the best decks in the format, while Tron is just a solid tier 2-3 control deck.
Cards in and cards out
Tron is cool everywhere you fools!
Only cultured people know this.
The deck is great fun to play but dies to Wasteland/Dust Bowl etc..
