I got one fairly recently, but haven't messed with it a whole lot. Overall, it's okay. Oddly, I find that it's better for OD and High gain tones. It has such low headroom (I think it's all of 1W, IIRC) that I find it starts to break up once there's actually enough volume to hear it over the guitar itself. It's a bit better with headphones though. Again, I haven't messed with it a whole lot yet though. Quite suitable for practice, but not much else, I'd say. The speaker is sort of a novelty, unless you want to show off something with gain. EDIT: It just occurred to me that you showed the box at the beginning. I took another look... it says 3W, so I was a little off. The rest still stands though. 😋
Have you tried it with pedals? I have a JA-02 II, the newer version, and I can't use it with pedals, it has grounding issues and gave me an elecric shock. I put this in my amazon review, and joyo said they'd fully refund it and that I could keep it, but that it wasn't designed to be used with pedals. I'm wondering if this is a particular problem with my, or just the design of the amp.
