High chances there. He even told the fand asking him about returning that he would never admit it, if he was in Scream 7, because then his return wouldn't be a surprise. And all of the sudden he talks of not being in the movie and so on, when he had been talking about returning and Stu being alive for over 20 years.

The fact that Neve Campbell has been asking for money to come back definitely means she too is an A-lister. She's in the Video Game world, She's had Success in The Lincoln Lawyer, and she's even teamed up with bigger names than her like Dwayne Johnson and Val Kilmer. So yeah, I do believe Neve is an A-lister. I would also like to see her team up with Tom Cruise. That would be awesome. But with all this being said, Jake I'm still hoping Neve comes back for Scream 7. She is the only person that will get me interested. And if she ain't back I ain't interested.

A spin-off is a captivating new series, film, or any form of media content that emerges directly from an existing series or film. It delves deeper into the narrative of a secondary character, exploring their journey, backstory, and motivations.
Spin-offs make secondary characters into main characters! New rules! Anything goes! And then, hopefully in the future, when they can get the carpenter sisters back, we could finish out the franchise with the Final Chapter!
So the Spin-off would make Mindy and Chad the main characters, supported by Gale and Kirby.

As a life long fan on this franchise, I am highly disappointed that the final movie of this trilogy we should be getting excited for, is being managed and handled like this. Sad to say but this is all too political and the lack of care from Spyglass and some of the actors towards the fans is disheartening. Hoping this turns around and they can all come together and work something out for all of us fans.

It all should've ended with the first sequel. This franchise isn't as impressive, effective nor as impactful as Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday The 13th.

There is about 5 different storylines I can give paramount to go in I’m not a script writer but I can give them directions to go in based on canon and who the director is because he did happy death day and Blair witch project one is lost footage and one is time travel they have Darcy Edwards from the Degrassi series who was in stab and scream is in the jay and silent bob universe they have a lot to do there and stu is and has been alive and in every single movie they can focus on that

As much as it hurts, good riddance Spyglass. Although I’d love more movies at some point given the other classic slasher franchises are dormant, I hope Melissa’s case sets an example for all of Hollywood in the future
I can see that with F13th and NOES. Halloween is far from dormant. They're working on a tv-series, video game deals have been made and everyone can expect a lot more movies to be made.
Scream VI needs to be the equivalent of Jason goes to Hell or Halloween 3, a one off reimagining...it can be non canon, and I still think a different perspective would be interesting. First person from GF perspective, or get the same tired story over and over again.

Great stuff and I do enjoy Matthew's stuff, but it kinda feels so odd just because he's always stated that Stu's always alive in every interview lmao. But yeah this has to do with Spyglass and everything they've done with the franchise which makes sense. Right now, I'd rather see Paramount produce a Season 4 of the Scream show and return to Lakewood. I mean Willa's done AMAZING in recent years. We've seen her play a bitch, money greeding bitch, a good girl, a druggie girl and a mother and she KILLED it in every role so it makes so much sense to bring Willa back as the lead. The movies need a break (just like after Scream 4), and just focus on the Lakewood story. I do prefer the show over alot of the movies just because the show characters I do enjoy alot more than the movie characters. Noah's amazing. Emma's a fucking badass and I love Audrey and Broorke. BRING THESE CHARACTERS BACK. I know Beyond the Mask is making a novel sequel to Season 2, but we need an actual new Season to the show. Over th past few years, there's been more and more fans of the show. Hell, you could introduce Ghostface into the Lakewood story. I just think you can do so much more with a TV show than a movie in horror. MTV Scream proved that and added in so much more than any Scream film imo. They added in characters reacting to deaths, amazing character development and twists. Like how could you not converse about MTV Scream? It did alot of things better than most of the movies and Willa ended up being such a great actress and only got bigger throughout the years.
Just pay what these people are worth to the franchise and this should be the last one.
There’s really nothing to celebrate and be happy about when it comes to this next entry in the scream movie franchise, spyglass really messed up and this isn’t the first time they messed things up either, last year for instance before scream 6 even began it’s filming process, Neve Campbell didn’t even get to appear in the film due to the fact she wanted to get paid a decent fair amount of money and spyglass declined that so therefore Neve herself backed out from being in the sixth installment in which i didn’t blame her for doing so because spyglass should of just been comprehensive instead of telling her no we aren’t going to pay you the fair amount of money that you are requesting and i don’t blame Melissa for saying no also after spyglass offered her to come back to be in scream 7, they fired her over a social media post and now they were wanting her to come back in which doesn’t make any sense, at least from my honest point of view it doesn’t make any sense and Jena is busy with working on other projects so she’s definitely not going to be in the next installment in the scream franchise and it doesn’t seem like Mason and Jasmine will be returning along with Neve and Courtney and Hayden probably won’t be in the next scream movie either so if that’s going to end up being true then one of the main questions will be what is going to happen now, are they going to continue to want to make another scream movie or are they just gonna say screw it and then cancel the seventh movie from even happening and being put into filming? 🤷🏻♂️ 😕 🎬

Who cares about Melissa Barrera? Sounds like you think anything controversial is political? The drama is going on an on about someone who got fired for behaving in a way that her bosses didn’t find appropriate. The end. That’s life. That’s reality. You’re welcome to say whatever you like but acting like there’s no consequences is pretty stupid and unrealistic. If they bring back Stu I wouldn’t even bother watching it- it’s literally the most retarded theory ever to ruin the entire franchise by bringing back Stu. It’s kinda pathetic to cling to the idea that the franchise is in “shambles”, like everything revolves around a couple of actors.
In my gut I feel that Jenna Ortega would have come back to finish the trilogy. If for no other reason than to support her costars of the past two movies and not bail on them. Of course she would ask for more money and the movie would need to film according to her schedule, but I still feel that this is what would’ve happened. It’s obvious that the script was written with this intention in mind. But when the studio fired her girl everyone was upset and then the house of cards fell. Cast and crew started dropping off the project one by one. Now this leaves us in a stalemate. The only option is a total reboot which nobody wants.
