And yes someone else mentioned it too but genius to use a piston to get the boats up! I watch a lot (too much) minecraft tutorials and I have never seen that done.

Put your wheat farm on the lower level and block off the access to the villager in the centre, so the farmer can't see him or throw food at him. Then give that farmer at least 8 stacks of seeds, so his inventory is full of seeds only. Then when he collects the wheat he will drop it on the ground and you can collect that using a minecart with hopper running under the farmland.
Hi there. I've found that the villager on the bottom level are trying to make babies with the villager on the other higher level. Instead of passing the food over to the villager in the centre and dropping it into the hopper. Any help

Break all the workstations and place them again one by one. start by placing them near the middle villagers until they get the farmer profession, then continue with the rest
Sometimes it can take a while because the villagers need to fill their inventory with the crops, plus the time it takes for the crops to grow. It’s slow at the beginning, but it gets faster later on.

It depends on whether you built them in your own world or on a public server. -On a server, you don't need to be in that location or connected. -In your own world, you should be AFK or at least close to the farm.
I build this, but the farmer in the second floors stopped sharing food, now he cant loot more and its going to waste. Guess i have to remove the farm and replace it with one that uses minecarts to loot😢 i really love how this farm looks
It could be said that they don't stop sharing food, but rather they take time to work. For instance, villagers typically don't work at night but rather during the day. It's also important to verify that the crops have fully grown.

I'm curious, can someone explain why do you need two cartographers for this farm to work? I don't really understand their purpose, but this is a beautiful farm nonetheless :)
The farmers are supposed to pass the extra crops they collect over to the villager in the center (carpenter) and they drop it into the hopper and it ends up in your chest.
They don't need to be cartographers, they can have any job you like, apart from Farmer. They are there just so the farmer will throw the food towards them.

But what about chunk borders? I found when I’ve built farms like this that when the villager crosses a chunk border quite often it disappeared (even if named and traded). Also the trapped villagers needed to have their own separate profession and needed to have been traded with.
Update: I did this on a creative world, to check, and the iron farm stopped generating golems, functioned again until I killed the crop farm villagers and destroyed the composters and cartography tables

You don't need to stand inside the farm to make it work but you need to be within simulation distance of the farm. e.g. If your game settings are set to a simulation distance of 6 chunks then you must be within 6 chunks of the farm for it to work (1 chunk = 16 blocks).

Update:
I did this on a creative world, to check, and the iron farm stopped generating golems, functioned again until I killed the crop farm villagers and destroyed the composters and cartography tables
@@carlosrodriguez6679 i think the iron farm needs to be further away since this farm acts like a village i think. Im gonna try building the iron farm in the sky

Is it important to stand in there to make the farm work? Btw your your video and works it was really really amazing 😊
You don't need to stand inside the farm to make it work but you need to be within simulation distance of the farm. e.g. If your game settings are set to a simulation distance of 6 chunks then you must be within 6 chunks of the farm for it to work (1 chunk = 16 blocks).
