- Skegness has been branded the worst seaside resort in the UK again! after a survey of over 4,000 holidaymakers. Consumer experts Which? carried out a survey of 4,061 visitors who told them all about their recent trips to seaside towns and villages across the country. Overall, 100 resorts were graded on the quality of the beach there, attractions, scenery, peace and quiet, and value for money

We're in skegness at butlins right now from norfolk. My parents bought me here as a child and I'm now bringing my child here too. It's a great price for a holiday at home. The entertainment and fun fair alone do it for us.

Can tell Tim was taken aback/distracted when Rachel wanted to walk alongside, felt slightly uncomfortably
@@kookytoots6755 You could see he was getting very frustrated with them but imagine walking with him, then going back and seeing this and realizing you were being a bit rude by continuing to walk when you could have walked a small bit and left them to continue the video. My mom taught me that a lady should always know when to make an exit.
Not watching live but Just popped in to see my cousin Dave and his family chat with you guys as I've not seen them in years as I now live in Australia 👍 PS I took the Aussie wife to skeggy years ago, she liked it, especially the fish n chips but it was also off season when we went so was a little quiet

Great wandering around my home town with you. My husband and I know Rachel, she’s a lovely, chatty person. The fairy dell is a cherished part of my childhood and indeed my adulthood. Many happy hours I spent there in the glorious sunshine. It’s a great day out especially if you take a picnic with you. Love your channel Tim. I’m virtually transported to places I wouldn’t otherwise be able to visit. ❤️😊💛

We ABSOLUTELY Love this video. We think Skegness is great place, we have been 7 times now stopping at the Premier Inn. The Crazy Golf courses in Skegness are some best around. I don't understand why people slate Skegness we Absolutely love the place❤. We love Blackpool too, which is on our return list this October. Next year it is Great Yarmouth, we have never been here, but friends rate it, so we thought it time to try it lol😅😅😅😅

Only know Skegness from old Butlins brochures (we went Minehead as closer to S Wales) - looks alright and clean, just a lot of closed stuff like any town due to greedy rent rates and online shopping (even before Covid)
I’ve been going skegness since child nothing wrong skegness has beautiful beach clean air good chip shops loads entertainment some nice shops to look round people stop knocking skegnessx
Yes, The Factory Shop was indeed Wilko's. It joins a growing list of shops we lost including WH Smith. At the start of your video, on the right of you was Herrick Watson's, a long established local business which closed in 2019 and the building is still vacant. Glad you both enjoyed the vibrant night scene that we have in Skegmess - just needs a few tumbleweeds drifting across the prom to complete the picture 😂 As to the Which rating - not to be taken too seriously. Skegmess is what it is, and the people who it appeals to, seem to love it, bless 'em 😂 If it's live theatre with top acts, concerts, top rated restaurants, or any form of culture, Skegmess isn't the place. For beach, slot machines, seaside tat shops, pubs, and cafes, it ticks all those boxes 😊 (Edit: The beach and pubs are the only things that aren't closed after 6pm).

Just finally got round to watching the live there is more shops in skeg round the corner the street you and gaby was walking down near train station is nicknamed chip pan ally
The river ended up abandoned, for around 5 years. Then it took a lot of money and time for them to get clean again. They were pulling shopping trolleys and bike out for about a year. The boat place desided to just go half way and self drive as not as many tourists were showing up to take the tour boat especially at the 🦭 end a few year after shutting down.

Some of my happiest ever memories growing up where at skegness, with my grandparents before my nan passed away. Haven’t had the heart to go back since she passed but i now have a 4 year old daughter I’m taking there this weekend for a week 🥹😭 want to give her the same memories I had. She deserves the world 🙏🏻 thank you for this video, bought back some really good happy memories before my life went really dark. Made me tear up a little seeing the place I love it so much
Great videio love it. Not been to Skegness for years use to be a bar there called Wolfies Bar guess it long gone now. Oh when i am in Manchester I use to stay at the Brittannia Hotel.

Old, workingclass resort it is still looking quite popular.A nice sandy beach. I would like the beach front road to be pedestrianised and nicely landscaped.
