Better Method that still works:
- Build basalt generator >6 blocks above him
- Push the basalt down with piston
- Simply automate it with a clock
imho prob the most simple method..

You can cheese ignis using a VILLAGER HOUSE.

you can automate the making and dropping of dripstone. if you place a dripstone on a dripstoneblock with water on top of the block it will make more dripstones

I found a way entity cramling you need to summon ignis let him through a portal in a room with hoopers and a lot of minecarts on powered rails on every and dispensers on the third phase ignis will break the minecarts but then they go through the hoppers into the dispensers and back on track
