Ok, I just got mine. Some programs were a perfect volume and then there were some that were extremely loud. Did any of you experience this? Or was mine messed with somehow?
Have ordered this Mooer ---2 ,months delivery ---So where does one select MODULATION FX ? IE WHICh dials or KNOBS WHERE TO TURN --OR PRESS ?? Cannot see where the MOD knob is ! IS IT. the -----MODE ---- knob very upper top left? HELP !
You didn't say what the pedal is going into. Was it front of amp? Solid state or tube amp? Into the effects return? (That's what I do with my amp modeling pedals). Straight into an interface? Also are the cab simulators on or off? 🤷♂️
Not sure what you mean by "pulled", but you can sustain the note for a while, especially when you use gain. They do have a Compressor effect, which could help with that too.
@@MasteringSilence Yes turning the FX completely off will stop the flashing "Tap" button. And that would also mean the FX itself can't be used either, since everything is powered-off in that case. Definitely one possible way to solve the issue. Lol.... but ... Is there a way you can stop the continuously flashing "Tap" button without having to shut down the main FX itself? Thanks.
I haven't went in depth with the zoom g1x four, but imo I think the mooer ge100 is better. I prefer the switches, the user interface, and the tone on the mooer.
You just need to plug it in like any other guitar pedal, aka you plug your guitar cable (which woud normally go straight in to the amp) into the pedals "in" jack, and from there you plug it in to the amp from the "out" jack
Just got one of these and tried it out once or twice, can you tell me, if you tweak the settings on one of the preinstalled effects is that tweak lost if not saved into a user made effect slot, when the power is turned off/disconnected? Does it go back to the original factory setting?
Yes and No. The GE100 Has 80 Preset Patches and 80 User Patches. You cannot save changes onto the Preset Patches, only the User Patches. But if you make changes on the Preset Patches and try to save it, it will automatically save it to the respective User Patch. For example, if you change settings on P01 (Preset Patch 1) and hit save, it will save it to U01 (User Patch 1).
This MOEER pedal works on mains adapter only ---9 VOLTS DC ---So why only 6 volts DC supply when the main power supply is out ? ridiculous ----never seen a device with Battery power DEFICIT !! ----IE 6 VOLTS --INSTEAD OF 9 VOLTS ?? Really ? something very wrong with the Chinese creation --WHO DO I COMPLAIN TO ?
4 X 1.5 VOLTS --batteries in series oin the rear Moer compartment --equal only 6 volts --refuses to power up the pedal correctly so the partial/NON power -up means LOW VOLTAGE!---THIS UNIT USES 9 VOLTS ! So why only 6 volt DC battery compartment ? HUH ? So now I must modify this damn idiotic Chinese voltage shortage ? 9 VOLT DC BATTERY ? Connect with wires externally ? What a mess !

Thank you. This is exactly the type of video I was looking for. I appreciate you showing what the unit does right out of the box.

A well made and presented video..good job
Thank you
High quality video , good job
Thanks 😁

Just ordered this. Great review. Im excited now

Thanks for the info.
Well done, Joseph!
Thanks!
Hello, does the processor have a sustain effect? If so, can the sound be pulled for a long time?
Not sure what you mean by "pulled", but you can sustain the note for a while, especially when you use gain. They do have a Compressor effect, which could help with that too.
Nice presentation Sir
Sound good the room335 is the coolest
I have a squire strat and a champ 20 I wanna get better gear but anyway. Should I get this as my first peddle?
I subscribe bro u deserve more
Thank you!
BOUGHT THIS PEDAL ----9 VOLT DC yet only has 6 VOLT battery compartment (ie 4 x 1.5 volt torch batteries type AA in rear batt compartment !! WHY ?
Because 9v DC adapters are a standard? Internally, the voltage will be regulated to either 5v or 3.3v to suit the electronics anyway.
AC vs DC
Hello what is F.Clean and Modern OD based on?
Good video. Keep it up!
Thank You ❤️
I wonder why mine sounds really muffled while my cheaper Cube baby's distortion effects sounds way way way clearer
Did you try tweaking the effects?
Can multiple effects be mixed at the same time?
great demo! does this have aux in?
Yes. It has an aux in.
do you notice any delay when switching from clean to distortion?
Yes there is! I have used it for a year now on several gigs and there is definitely a half a second delay between presets
@@stevenmolotovMI know this is a 1 year old comment but I wanna know,in your opinion do you recommend this?, I'm planning on buying it as a gift
If the person is not gonna use it on live setting and huge gigs then its fine@@deez-y6z
Does the ns stand for a noise gate? Does the pedal also have a compressor ?
Yes. NS stands for noise and the only option is a noise gate. There is one compressor option in the FX module.
Hi , the Tap button on my Mooer GE100 is always blinking. Is it possible to stop it from blinking all the time? Grateful for any advice. Thanks.
Turn the fx off

put a piece of tape on it?
Or just ignore it....
Original sound or you made it? I mean that a build in sound?
These are all the factory preset sounds. I didn't change anything.
@@GrowWithGuitar wow ..thanks bro..
Hey Joseph...how do you save a loop recording?
Hi bro, can you make the review What else can a wah pedal do thks
can you put on 2 different fx? like delay and distortion at the same time?
You can make your own patch which you can combine different types of pedal.
And each type of effect, there are several types. More can be seen it the manual
O modelo Muslady MU 100 tem alguma diferença na qualidade em relação a Mooer GE100 ?
Would you say it's better then the zoom g1x four?
I haven't went in depth with the zoom g1x four, but imo I think the mooer ge100 is better. I prefer the switches, the user interface, and the tone on the mooer.
How do you change from preset to another? By pressing what?
the on/off button
How about Wah?
does anyone know if you can get the 'Boston' sound from this?
how do u connect it on your guitar? thanks T^T

I have question when you connect it in your amp? what is the setting of your amp??
For this video, I didn't connect to an amp. I connected it straight to my audio interface.
@@GrowWithGuitar what brand of audio interface that u used?
@@GrowWithGuitar Doesn't sound like you had any cabinet simulators on, or an i.r.

Does pitch shifting work well ?
no such fx as pitch shifter 00----I already enquired !
If you want to play canon rock, what is the appropriate setting
Mooer generally sounds better. Zoom's distortion tone is really plasticky
Hi what is the disadvantage of ge?
theres a delay when changing patch, but for me, its fine for its price

ridiculous ----never seen a device with Battery power DEFICIT !! ----IE 6 VOLTS --INSTEAD OF 9 VOLTS ?? Really ? something very wrong with the Chinese creation --WHO DO I COMPLAIN TO ?
Mooer does not power up on only 6 volt DC battered -----needs 9 volt DC to operate correctly --- Chinese balls up

why not simply list and play EVERY and each effect ---so we know what we are purchasing---
Not
ALL QUITE GOOD ---except the shinning (shining ) ---and 12 string -----and octave divider ---all rubbish !
