I love this. This is one of the first songs my Daughter taught my first 2 Grandsons. Both of them are grown now. We would drive down the road with them both in their car seats, she would start singing, they would clap their little hands, and delight in moment. This is one of my most precious moments as a Mother to my Daughter, and a Grandmother to my Grandson's. They are Wonderful Men of God to this day. I love the way her and my Son-in-law raised my Grandsons and now their 12 year old Daughter. I am so Blessed by this song still today, and Children love it. When I was first diagnosed with cancer in 2019, I “had my bags packed”, symbolically speaking…but as days turned into months and those into years (5 now), I came to understand that my loved ones here need me in whatever way I am of any help to them, praying for them, loving them-and that the Lord has purpose for me and I stopped “waiting at the station for him to pick me up” so to speak, and have instead been focused on just being yielded to the Lord and desiring His will for me because I KNOW that His ways are better, His plan is better! Yet a little while, and we will see Him. 💖Seems like so long, but we must “occupy till he comes”. -remember Galatians 6:9
yes you made perfect sense. At one time in my life (and I am 73) It seemed I just kept having a hard time, everything was always going wrong or something difficult was going on with one of my children... I did keep thinking , I can't let this get me down, we're supposed to praise Jesus through good times and bad. But my heart was not believing what my mind was thinking...UNTIL I basically thought along the lines of this verse.. I finally realized God was doing many things for me through these very difficult days...not only testing me and my faithfulness but showing me a lot of the time I needed to learn a lesson about each certain thing that was happening that in the near future these lessons and knowledge would benefit me greatly !! So what I learned that each day the Lord makes for me is wonderful no matter what that day brings...smile and KNOW he IS the LORD OUR GOD.
That was perfect! Of course God knew exactly how much time you had! He doesn't just direct your steroids, He directs your WORDS to us. What to share, how long you have, how scattered it may or may not come out, EVERYTHING you shared is exactly what He wanted you to share and the way He wanted you to share it. The REALNESS is why it speaks to us. It DOES make a difference and comforts and brings us closer to God because you're just you. Thank you Corrie! ❤

Thank You for sharing this today. I am my husband's caregiver, he had a stroke 7 years ago on Thanksgiving Day, that brought on dementia. So for a little over 7 years I have been taking care of him. He is mostly in the bed, he is totally incontinent, so I find myself changing diapers again. Some days are very challenging. I admit sometimes I try to do it on my own, it doesn't take long to realize without God I cannot do it. I do have family close by that are good support. We got a beautiful snow here in our part of Eastern NC and today at almost 75 I went sledding, actually my son pulled our 4 year old Grandson and I on a barrel that had been cut on half length wise behind the gator, I had so much fun. Thank You and Your sister and Your parents for doing the videos, I enjoy all of them. I found your Mom's channel first and then Y'all. It is always a Blessing to watch something without hearing cursing or wondering what ungodly thing is coming next. PRAYERS

Sometimes lately, I get discouraged because I have been sick and I don’t have the energy I need to accomplish as much as I would like, but I am reminded that I can get around and do some things. It’s more than some others can do. Psalm 139 is one of my favorite chapters too. God bless you dear one. It takes a lot of energy to be a wife and mother, but it is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have. ❤️✝️🙏
May God heal your body by the stripes Jesus took on himself for us! " Jesus paid it all", we sing and now can believe throughout eternity, we can see the way God sent a perfect "lamb" to take our place and deliver us from sin and death- sickness can't win because Jesus poured all of himself out for us, blood and water flowed more than a symbol but a true balm of Gilliad. You are precious to God, He ordained it all and showed us His great love, right? I pray the sickness leaves today and your strength increases 10 times so everyone knows God did it! Pray for my husband and son to be healed also, please. They are improving daily and I am surely encouraged , that's why this grandma is excited. When we look back we can say, He did it all to show His great love for us!! Praise Him, friend, it can only get better, I believe.

Let me tell you, I've seen this video on my page for several days, and hadn't watched it yet. I've been going thru a a depression and my house is a mess. Today I decided to start cleaning it, and turned this on. Remembering having a house to clean is a blessing and finally obeying Gods voice, telling me to get it cleaned. God left that verse on my heart over 30 years ago. I was working in a hospital that had respite care beds on our Med-Surg unit. It was for folks that weren’t going to a nursing home but needed more than just a visiting nurse in their home. A very sweet diabetic elderly lady was under my care in a respite bed on that day. I arrived at her bedside, my busy head soberly considering all the tasks I would need to rapidly complete before the doctors began to arrive needing assistance in assessing and fulfilling the orders for the care of my acute patients. I found her sitting on her bedside, smiling, having already completed her morning blood sugar finger stick and some basic personal care. I commented on her chipper mood and she smiled broadly and said “This IS the day the LORD hath made. I WILL rejoice and BE GLAD in it!” The joy in her voice was crystal clear and more powerful than any sermon man has ever preached. And it came directly from The LORD to my heart! God bless your day and the Mom ministry path the Lord has set before you.
I love this katie.I listened this on the way to my heart cath this morning. It was very comforting. All praise to God. My heart cath😊 was good. They discovered that I have a bit of a extra rhythm so that was what I was feeling, but it was the best outcome. Praise God.
Absolutely, when we made God #1 priority. Spend time with Him. He will make the day go smooth, even when things get hard , He gives us peace about it. So we dust off our knees and we get up and we continue. When we do it for Him, you will smile at the end of the day, knowing you gave it your all.. Great wisdom - especially from someone so young. When my babies came along (they're 46 and 52 now), I learned I had to sleep while they sleep. Once they were older, I'd get up an hour or two before they woke to have quiet time and get things done. One thing I told myself was this: " my time with them will last twenty years or so. After that, I will have plenty of time to do the things I miss doing now." I also learned this from Mary Kay Ash: make a list of my 6 most important things to do. Then prioritize them. Start with #1 and go from there. If I don't finish all six, I put them at the top of the next days list. Works great. God bless you, and all of your family

I am 65 and retired and live alone except for my best friend Sadie, half Aussie and half blue healer. I retired 2 yrs ago and have struggled with losing my purpose. From 72 to 84 hrs a week as a butcher to just a few. I gave my life to christ in 2015 and my soul was on fire. Family and friends passing have dimmed that fire. Your talking about God's love and when people say to me that they feel like God's turned his back on them because of things they have done I read them Romans 38-39. Don't stop what u are doing, sharing God's word. I know that you know that you reach individuals, but I bet U DON'T KNOW is that the scriptures u share are passed on to others. U are planting a seed, ur planting a field. I love you guys. God bless you and your family

Thank you Corrie. Im really struggling. I have been sick and isolated/rejected by “friends “ and some days feel God has forsaken me. 😢 I’m only 57 and feel like such a burden to my loving husband. I have sensitivities to everything. Cleaning products and fragrances especially dryer sheets which everyone uses i can’t even go to church without getting sicker.
I understand where you are coming from. I am allergic to the items you mentioned. Hard to get away from them too! I have never felt God has forsaken me, it can just be tough. Blessings and love to you from Texas! 🙏🩷

Very true ! We need to be present in the moment! We each have responsibilities and we constantly readjust our priorities! My grandma believed we should pray without ceasing and be greatful in the tasks we are given ! That verse from Psalms reminds me of the hymn "A Mighty Fortress is Our God, The King of All Creation " He is with us in everything that we do , always and forever! Always look for help, the Bible said to have many counselors, I was super depressed after my husband left, almost followed the horrible thoughts to my death, But Jesus sent a thought that seemed like it could not work, I followed that thought and went to talk to a really good family member that helped me and then IU went to get a med that was non addictive and stayed on it about a year, the Lord said stop now, and I did. Don't let stigma of meds keep you from something that could be a true help for your time of need and go talk to someone! Please! Yes you are the WHY, why God sent Jesus and Why he saved me to tell you, go do the hard thing to get better. You are the person to help someone else dear Robert!

Great wisdom - especially from someone so young. When my babies came along (they're 46 and 52 now), I learned I had to sleep while they sleep. Once they were older, I'd get up an hour or two before they woke to have quiet time and get things done. One thing I told myself was this: " my time with them will last twenty years or so. After that, I will have plenty of time to do the things I miss doing now." I also learned this from Mary Kay Ash: make a list of my 6 most important things to do. Then prioritize them. Start with #1 and go from there. If I don't finish all six, I put them at the top of the next days list. Works great. God bless you, and all of your family

I am 65 and retired and live alone except for my best friend Sadie, half Aussie and half blue healer. I retired 2 yrs ago and have struggled with losing my purpose. From 72 to 84 hrs a week as a butcher to just a few. I gave my life to christ in 2015 and my soul was on fire. Family and friends passing have dimmed that fire. Your talking about God's love and when people say to me that they feel like God's turned his back on them because of things they have done I read them Romans 38-39. Don't stop what u are doing, sharing God's word. I know that you know that you reach individuals, but I bet U DON'T KNOW is that the scriptures u share are passed on to others. U are planting a seed, ur planting a field. I love you guys. God bless you and your family

Thank you Corrie. Im really struggling. I have been sick and isolated/rejected by “friends “ and some days feel God has forsaken me. 😢 I’m only 57 and feel like such a burden to my loving husband. I have sensitivities to everything. Cleaning products and fragrances especially dryer sheets which everyone uses i can’t even go to church without getting sicker.
I understand where you are coming from. I am allergic to the items you mentioned. Hard to get away from them too! I have never felt God has forsaken me, it can just be tough. Blessings and love to you from Texas!

Very true ! We need to be present in the moment! We each have responsibilities and we constantly readjust our priorities! My grandma believed we should pray without ceasing and be greatful in the tasks we are given ! That verse from Psalms reminds me of the hymn "A Mighty Fortress is Our God, The King of All Creation " He is with us in everything that we do , always and forever! We need an attitude of gratitude! 💯🙌💗

Im the why! Ive spent several days battling battling depression and anxiety! God is reminding me and oters im sure. Only true peace and joy can only come from the Holy Spirit! Keep our eyes on Jesus and like Peter, we will not sink. Thank you for your obedience and sharing Gods word!❤
Always look for help, the Bible said to have many counselors, I was super depressed after my husband left, almost followed the horrible thoughts to my death, But Jesus sent a thought that seemed like it could not work, I followed that thought and went to talk to a really good family member that helped me and then IU went to get a med that was non addictive and stayed on it about a year, the Lord said stop now, and I did. Don't let stigma of meds keep you from something that could be a true help for your time of need and go talk to someone! Please! Yes you are the WHY, why God sent Jesus and Why he saved me to tell you, go do the hard thing to get better. You are the person to help someone else dear Robert!
