Memoria have a lot of symbolisms, many buddy left it into the struggle the members when into life but the reality is that is deeper than that like eunha with both eyes of different colors, also Yerins glitter and Yuju galaxy tattoo o umji red moon. Memoria falls into the "parallel dimension" where these "versions" of gfriend doesn't know each other at all, but they can meet in dreams tho they have this connection they doesn't know exist. Memoria is divided in 2 world: the real world and the dream world as you can see, in the dream world they meet and take care of each other and is till the end they meet in real world :)

I don't know whether the universe is still the same as the Korean one. maybe this MV tells about those who fell asleep and dreamed something amazing, and when they wake up they lose everything in the dream. they miss the dream and try to find it in the real world. It turns out that their dream was caused by the other members making it when they fell asleep. so their beauty and happiness is due to their friendship. The MV is very sweet.

Ah, so you are reacting to Gfriend's Japanese discography after all. I wasn't sure since some get dissuaded from doing so because of the scrutiny Japanese MVs supposedly would get. BTW, this is Gfriend's first original Japanese song, not translated from their Korean songs. It's also one of the two MVs from Gfriend that I enjoy their MV more than their dance practice videos (the second one is Apple). You discovered the ideal model of treating Gfrined's lore - it is subject to your own interpretation! And theories abound about what this video means. While many have a thorough explanation for each member's role, I very much focused on their relationship in this MV. First of all, you may know it by now that this Memoria MV consists of two worlds - one while each member in the sleep state as all of them fall asleep in the beginning of the MV. And the other one supposedly in the awaken state. Excluding the dance sequences, you can tell the difference by the wardrove they have on. As they sleep, each member shows a special need/want in their dream state: Yerin - Magical glitter SinB - Wings Yuju - Constellation Sowon - Paper crane Eunha - Different colored eyes Umji - Moon Also the MV goes on to show how each member helps and supports each other: Yuju blows on/off the glitter on Yerin's knees. Eunha spreads feathers for SinB's wings. Yuju broke her finger/ joint bc she fell Sinb who dislocated her shoulder you can see it on one of their navillera performance where even she felt the pain she continued to perform and smile in front of buddies. And that represents the wings on the mv. Umji who was called ugly after their debut. And that was represented by the moon she saw its plain, so draw and she painted it to look beautiful.
