I was hesitant At first spending this much money on a car seat but honestly think about it like this , you won’t have to buy another car seat ever again
Really struggling to adjust my seatbelts with my almost 2 year old. Making them looser is not a problem, but tightening them while he is in the seat is so so difficult, the straps just doesn’t want to pull tighter, then he gets his arms out while we drive. I am doing it exactly as demonstrated on the video, but is there another trick to it when they are bigger? We have the fx signature.
Hi @Evette Rourke we’re so sorry you’ve been having this issue with your every stage fx car seat! We also apologize for the tardy response, and hope this message is still helpful at this time. The harness should continue to tighten and loosen easily, so we’ll try to help you troubleshoot the problem. There could be one of a few reasons this is happening: 1) Check for a twist(s) in the harness. Here is a video from our car seat expert, Damon, showing how to remove twists: th-cam.com/video/W3f-ZlDaI8I/w-d-xo.html 2) Have you removed all the infant inserts at this point? Excess padding for an older child can extend the harness and make it harder to tighten properly; 3) If both of those issues are accounted for, the harness tighten button may be jammed or broken, in which case please get in touch with your local Joie customer service team at joiebaby.com/contact to work out a solution. Hope this helps! Thank you for trusting Joie.
Hi Laura! You will find a small white label on the back or bottom of the seat that shows the model number, serial number, and manufacturing date. Car seats have a recommended use period of 5 to 7 years from manufacturing date for the harness seat, and 7 to 10 years for high back booster style seats. For an Every Stage model it is acceptable to use the whole way through to the maximum age, for one child, as our products are made with new plastic and not recycled, and Every Stage also has steel frame work for additional strengthening. Should the seat be used for multiple children then the expiry dates would apply.
Be aware. When used for a newborn stage it doesn't click into the car seat with that safety extendable arms. It literally sits on the cars back seat. And is belted in like securing a cardboard box. Even with the seat belt tightened and secured. It shakes and rattles and feels extremely unsafe.

Hi. Is this FFA approved? Thanks
No isofix?
When attaching with the car seat belt, how do I recline the seat in forward facing mode?
There’s always a large gap when it’s reclined.
I'm facing the same issue. How did you resolve? Thanks.
@@Doozy10 I didn’t resolve it 😅.
There’s still a gap when reclining it in forward facing mode
Can these be used in the middle seat of the car?
HI, My car seat belt is too long for the car seat? How do I adjust that ?
