- This is a shorter animatic that I drew the rough frames for about 2 years ago. I've been working on it a lot lately, so I finished it up pretty quick. It's another depressing one... I promise to make something more lighthearted next.
I drew all the frames on Procreate and put them together on iMovie. There are about 115 frames.

My stomach hurts and my eyes are burning but that's because you did an amazing job with a heavy song.

There are not many cavetown songs I haven't heard (108 liked on spotify, I've seen him live as well) and this was one of the few. damn that hit hard.
Um- I wasn't ready for tears at 5am but ok,
I think this style is really cool because it focuses on details over motion, as opposed to typical animatics that focus on the vice-versa

Oh nooo,,, did she die at the end? :( I mean, assuming that the shrine of pictures is a collection of people and animals she's lost, and her being added to the pile, plus her turning ghostly,, man. This was very good, so underrated, your art is really pretty and I love the bits of motion you give everything, helps it feel all that more engaging.. and your expressions are really great as well,, almost cried, ngl. Loved this

Are you okay? I noticed there was not a lot of time between the last animatic and now, and those are hard work to make. Also they all have really dark themes. I love all your work and just wanna make sure your ok
Thank you for your concern! I’m okay. I’ve had the time/motivation to work on this one, and it went much faster since it’s a shorter song. Drawing has always been my way of coping with and expressing more negative feelings. While it’s a common topic for me in my art, I’m not actually feeling down all the time, so no worries!
hey can i have ur spotify? im rly curious abt it now lol. my fav artist USED to b cavetown in 2020, rn it's prob alex g and deftones- listen to Bobby and Southern Sky by him!! promise they're good and for Deftones if ud like u can start with Cherry Waves and then Knife Prty (my favorite lol) - it's all the same emo u get from cavetown but in MUCH different fonts. anyways loved this animatic, it's rly cool seeing u grow
