It's really interesting to see their ever show. You can see they understand how to perform, but don't have it down just yet. Seen them live twice now and it's completely different to what you see here. It really is incredible to see how they have evolved into highly skilled performers throughout the decade.
Saw them at Secret Solstice in 2015 and immediately fell in love. Love how experimental and theatrical this performance is. Glad they're still at it a decade later.
No, according to this article: www.borgarbokasafn.is/starfid-a-safninu/bokmenntaumfjollun/ljodaslamm-2013 this is the poetry slam February 8. HENCE this is their very first gig! This is history! Thank you city library!
6 years later, still not an English lyric to be found. They played The Cure's 40th Anniversary in Hyde Park in 2018 (with an explicit invitation to do so from Robert Smith himself), and will be at SxSW in 2020.
i like them.....first time i heard them...hauntingly good...but its painfully obvious that they arnt very good at their instrumments....sure i like it raw and their newer stuff is more clean but it looses out some on the digital sound and plastic drums...would be interesting to hear them in a couple of years if they actually got better at playing redoing some of thier old songs in a more bombastic....raw but more tight sound
@@filipematias5127 sure does..but compare them to early the cure...that was a tight band that realy could play, this band is simply not very skilled at instruments.
@@jimbombadill : By the way did you know that Robert Smith took upon himself to phonecall the girls from the band and taking them under his wing since 2018? He ONLY did it cos' he obviously thinks they are good and the drummer who now plays keyboards has actual classic lyrical music training in case you also didn't know! Plus this videi is their debut performance which was an high-school poetry reading contest which they won for their sheer originality and minimal raw punk bass+drums+vocals orchestration in their early teens! Their evolution has come a long way and nowadays they are pretty good live!
@@filipematias5127 yes i knew that. But different styles etc dosnt realy mather, IF you can play you can play. Like i Said i like them but they arnt great musicians.
The beginning of the legend called Kaelan Mikla!

Post punk GOTH rock Darkwave Coldwave means you improve as you go along!
