In this measurement 3 datum are given. But measurement is taking only from two datum(B,C). What is the use of third datum(A)? Where we consider this datum on measurement?
datum A is a primary datum, in this it controls the orientation (perpendicularity) of this axis with Datum A. So the other 2 datums are used for locating the axis of hole.

Pythagorean theorem: 0,2ˇ2+0,2^2=x^2 x=~0,282. The x is the distance between the theoretic axis and the axis of the extended control rod. This value has to be multiplied with 2 because the position tolerance is a diameter tolerance and x is just a distance from the theoretic axis to the rod axis, so it is actually a radius value not a diameter. If you multiply it with 2 you will get the diameter~0,566. The position tolerance was 0,3 the bonus is 0,2 so it should have been inside of a 0,5 mm cylinder, but it is outside of it, so it is rejected.

The hole position is 0.3 given at MMC, so as the diameter increases the position value also increases. So when the diameter is at maximum value the position tolerance with bonus tolerance should be considered. Am i right sir??
Hi @@PalaniKailash, I don't understand why the actual position values have been doubled? if the deviation in x and Y is both 0.1, then the hypotenuse (longest length) of the triangle is 0.14mm. yet it has been doubled to 0.28mm. Is it standard to double it in this situation?
I think I've answered my own question. Reading from another source: "reporting on deviations in the location of a feature, the deviation value R is normally doubled, and reported back as a diameter, so that it can be compared directly with the given tolerance value (provided as a diameter)."

For deviation in X(0.1) & Y(0.1) direction, the actual position would be 0.14. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Dear sir In hole H2 why the co ordinate devation x&y is 0.2 why in H1 it is 0.1
