Never liked Eamonn Holmes he always came across as Smarmy and left his first wife once a cheater enough said.

Eamon Holmes left his wife holding their new born baby in Ireland for the bright lights of London which sums up his character perfectly!
That's right and once a cheat always a cheat
Unfair. Literally, FOR YEARS, he returned every weekend, to Ireland from England, to be with their sons and daughter. Eamon continued to do so even during his LONG COURTSHIP with Ruth. Consequently, he is very close to ALL of his children . Ruth, by her own admission, is pathologically jealous. She didn't even like her co-stars on Loose Women saying he was lovely. Only Coleen Nolan was allowed to praise him! She was known to be possessive about him throughout showbiz. When Eamon had enough and spoke out against Schofield and ITV and left for GBNews, she was apoplectic with horror since from their early courtship she had engineered working situations that had them present as a duo. It is believed that she was getting crotchety and fed-up with his illnesses and immobility and this 'woman' she drones on about is not a lover but a supporter of his. He, has apparently totally re-evaluated his life and felt he'd had enough of her clinging jealousy and short-temper. So, she was seeing him for years, whilst he returned to his family, but finally pushed things with a pregnancy in her forties. Google it, if you don't believe me. The man is decent, not a shagger and his wife has not been there for him now he's getting older. What a cheap 'life partner'!!
IMO she should have confronted him.
