Questa versione e' migliore rispetto a quella di Gigliola Cinquetti, oltre la sua bravura, la canzone e' sorretta da uno stupendo arrangiamento. Bellissima dunque, ad ampio respiro, Però la vittoria no! In quell anno c'erano brani più meritevoli come io che non vivo di Pino Donaggio. Merita una menzione "invece no" di Petula Clark, sempre proveniente da quel festival di quell anno.
Gigliola Cinquetti aveva solo 17 anni quando cantò questa bellissima canzone sapendola rendere personale e unica. Molto più intensa di quella della pur bravissima Connie Francis
