Nice to see that you're hooked up with Amazon but how long do you expect it will be before we can use the Wyze cams with Google? Also, how about casting from our cell phones or tablets Wyze apps to TV or through Google Cast to a TV or monitor?
There was one option I posted on my TH-cam page, they eliminated the Wyze application, now with Alexa showing there is most of the times problems, we can't count on it ;-/
I purchased two Wyze cams and an Echo spot today so that I can use this feature. I’ve already told everyone I know. I’m super excited to have this in my home!!!!
Just bought 2 new pan cameras & have a wyze outdoor battery camera. Once it showed one of the pan cameras when asked on the Echo Show. Since then it just keeps saying "Waiting for Wyze" My Ring camera responds every time, quickly. I have been Wyze customer a long time, but I may be changing to Ring for reliability. THe upgrade on the PAN CAM is nice.
I have recommended these to my friends and family. They already bought them. These things sell themselves. With so many options and the pricing you can't go wrong. Support this company because their is not any like them. They know what WE want because they are WE.

I love my Wyze v2 and would have got more but does not work with Alexa!! To Wyze engineers and developers, slow down with all the new products, fix the Alexa Skill first. People would buy a lot more of your products. If anyone reads the comments on your own site about skill would start looking at other options. Amazon blame Wyze and Wyze blames.

Is it possible to set up a wyze cam on the alexa device that is not in the same network? Let's say I want to see the Wyze cam I set up in my office but I want to be able to view it on my Echo Show in my home. Is that possible?
Echo show issue here.. Despite strong signal showing on phone app from cameras, constant "buffering" .. "buffering" please let me know how to resolve this and get it functioning correctly. I have removed/added, played with disabling and readding skill, renaming cams. Still the same issue.

The Wyze Cam v1, v2, Pan, and Wyze Sense do not support running routines with Alexa and we do not have a timeline for implementing them. I’m having a little issue with it buffering every 1-2 seconds on echo show 8. Any idea how to solve this? Operation is pretty smooth on my fun. Just buffering on the echo.

Add a built in battery and an optional solar panel and this'll be better than most of the competition. Also longer cloud recording of 1 - 2 mins would be perfect instead of just 15 seconds
When are you going to support the pan features through Alexa? It’s rather useless to have the Cam Pan connected with Alexa if I can’t move the camera. This is not clear in your sales advertising for the Cam Pan.

Great if things are working properly. My echo says they to re-enable but I do that on the alexa app and it still doesnt work, Help for this please. it is working fine on the phone.
Alexa worked with my Wyze cam v2 and Wyze cam pan using any of my Firesticks until the last firmware updates. Now all I get is "Cam 1 doesn't support that". I deleted the two cams and went through the enabling process all over again. Cams were discovered and set up only to receive the same result. What's the problem??? Thanks

Will the Alexa app skill recognize Wyze “tasks” as “scenes” any time soon? Disappointed to have to launch the app to set away/home/sleep etc. While the camera is great, it’s still the only device in my “smart” home ecosystem that can’t be grouped into routines and simple commands.
Are you thinking of adding philips hue capabilities like how on the nest cam you can make it so if there’s no activity in a room it’ll automatically shutoff your hue lights after x amount of minutes

It appears you can use alexa only if you have the account already set up with a smartphone. You cannot do it if you have only an Alexa tablet and no smartphone, which is what I have. Is this correct?

Answered my question, but...why can't it show the chosen camera all the time instead of cutting off after 10 minutes? That is annoying. I want to see what is happening at a glance, not have to connect all the time.

Exactly my issue. I searched my Wyze and Alexa apps for time limits. I bought my echo show specifically to use it as a baby monitor

Yes, if you're streaming through your Echo Show it should stream both video and audio!

You are correct! The Wyze skill is only available for Alexa devices with screens and that's why Dave didn't use a phone here. :)

This would be a question for the Alexa team! :) Once you set up Alexa and as long as your tablet is connected to WiFi or mobile data, it should work.

Sad to say I can not get the WYZE Outdoor cameras to work with Alexa.
Is there a way to permanently have the alexa screen showing your front door?
Answered my question, but...why can't it show the chosen camera all the time instead of cutting off after 10 minutes? That is annoying. I want to see what is happening at a glance, not have to connect all the time.

We're working on it! We already turned in the application to have the Wyze skill available everywhere that Alexa is enabled. :)

We don't have any specific Chromecast plans but I know that we're looking into Google Home/Assistant integration, Kyle. :)
