I'm 52 year old and currently I owned a TRX 400X 2013 I'm looking soon to buy a new Raptor 700R It is damaged to doesn't have the SE edition available in canada Keep Sport ATV alive
Have owned my raptor 700r SE since 2008 it's like new , so much power scary power ! Reminds me of old 250 honda trx 2- stroke. They are nice and fun machines
Hey. Loved the video. I’m in Manitoba canada and i just purchased my first raptor. Its an 07 700. I havent had a chance to take it out yet as there was quite a bit of work to do to it. I want to let everyone know that there are some parts that are discontinued on some of these older Raptors. I had some issues with rebuilding the rear shock however have gotten it rectified with extensive research. Cheers Raptor family🇨🇦
it hasnt changed because it no longer has a reason to, no competing models. i think you do a great job on your reviews. i remember you briefly from TFL
Great review! I've ordered my Raptor 2023 SE back in October last year, it should be coming by the end of April. Thank you for this great review! You've earned a subscriber from Bulgaria :)
The last sport ATV I owned was a '98 350 Warrior(6 speed). I've been looking at the YFZ450 and Raptor 700. What I like about the 450Z is the wider stance, but if the price is the same I figure might as well get the Raptor. I believe the SE version of the Raptor sits just a bit wider than the Base and R models. I would just be riding around fields, trails, and climbing lots of hills. At 6', 165lbs assuming its not an issue but a big concern of mine is how well it can climb hills. Great video review! Straight, and to the point.
My friend has a 2023. Honestly not as fast as one would expect 700cc to be. For example, it goes 0 to 60 the same time as my Honda Civic. Was expecting more
Great video! Looks like a blast. As someone new to quads/SXS's/camper trailers will you (or have you in the past) done a video on sizing and what to look for if you are a big and tall man? 6'5 300 lbs. What size CC engine, what models are more geared towards bigger riders. Thank you!
The raptor 700r SE would be more than enough power for u!! My weight fluctuates between 285 and 295 during winter months but my son is 14 and about 190 pounds and he handles it just fine but he has been riding since he was 3 or 4 years old
My SE arrives next week, Yamaha released some SE stock to AU, NZ for 2023. Have found my previous Raptors capable over cross country trails, rips/drifts through the mud, unless there is a major bog.
Great review keep it up and I Just picked up a 2023 700r special edition today can’t wait to take it for a spin unfortunately didn’t get it home til late plus it’s -4 degrees where I am 😂maybe another day
I have the opposite problem, I've only ridden sport quads, and thinking about going to the utility quads. Oddly all the things you said don't do on a sport quad (aside from snorkel deep water crossing) is what I've been doing along with all the ripping around. So my main concern was that a utility quad would have problems with steep slippery mountain trails being as heavy as they are. I'm guessing from your commentary the heavy atv's do fine with it.
I had a banshee, wish I never sold it. By the way Stephen you forgot to say it has a reverse gear. The raptor 700 is a great trail machine also. Not riding a sport ATV since 12yrs old! You rode it like a pro
Yamaha has destroyed the sport atv market with the Raptor and the YXZ. I just wish they do the same as some car manufacturers and go all-in like the Jeep 392 or the new Z06. Like a limited edition MT-07 Raptor/ MT-09 Banshee/ YXZ-R1 64" a SXS with 180 hp with the wildcat chassis and sportshift trans. Before the hybrid/electric ones. Like Segway do!

Keep Sport ATV alive
I’ve had a trx250r and YFZ450 both were awesome but for trail riding you can’t beat a raptor
You’re not giving them enough credit, the Raptors, wicked for trail riding

I have a 2013 400x, that is damn near show room condition when clean. I’d love to have one of these, but I wish they’d go back to making banshees
Im 14 years old, and my dream is just to ride one of these things ALL DAY, on just alot of grass, and big areas, just going fun, Safe, all day.
Great review keep it up and I Just picked up a 2023 700r special edition today can’t wait to take it for a spin unfortunately didn’t get it home til late plus it’s -4 degrees where I am 😂maybe another day
I want one
Looks like a good spot to test some truck's and SUV's.
Great review
Pretty sure you’re my long lost brother. Our taste is similar. Haha

I know it doesn’t matter because the changes are only in the plastics but this is a 2022 not a 2023.

He said it has reverse at 1:01
BRP stopped the DS 450 I thought due to safety concerns ??
🔥🔥⚡️
Your so tall you make that thing look like a kids quad!
I'm 6'3 that's how I feel on mine
What atvs are getting wide? No body makes em anymore other than yamaha lol
You forgot about the Honda 700xx
😂😂muchos tacos 🌮 and burgers 🍔 amigo
Is this special edition?
Nice I have the same bike.i made it super 🏃♀️ fadt
Imagine if you got on a 450 there’s a reason I’d ride those over a 700 any day way faster off the line
5 gears?
Suzuki needs to bring the banshee back
Burger King should bring back the mcrib

This guy talks “too professional”
I don’t like him.
That poor suspension is screaming!
