This item is a posable, high-grade or better injection-plastic kit of an item from the Gundam universe.
Shiba's Gunpla based on the Gundam Astray from "Gundam Build Divers" gets a HGBD kit from Bandai! Its No-Name Rifle can be built in its D-Extension defense form, B Smart Gun long-range shooting mode, or backpack mode! It also has a Gauntlet Saber for its right arm, and the remotely controlled Blade Dragoon is also included. Its twin head antenna are included as well. Get yours today!

This Astray No Name kit is just so disappointing , where's the beam saber on the left hand ? , they change its color to brown wine ? , the backpack is so rubbish , and finally the articulation of this kit. I hope Bandai spend more time to make this gundam , what about turn this kit into an RG grade ?
for the beam saber,i am thinking about taking the lance from the fenice and painting it green.
The HG Astray from 2013 honestly doesn’t need a revive. It’s still up to par to modern kits even to this day. But wow, articulation on the No Name is just disappointing(It doesn't really bother me since I never put my models in super crazy action poses). Gonna get it anyways.

90 is perfectly serviceable. How often do you pose your kits with the arm bent 180 with hands against the shoulder? Definitely less than 10% (being generous). I got over 50 kits on display, and none pose like that because either:
1. The arm is mostly straight/slightly bent for the standing there and looking cool pose
2. Outstretched as most cool action poses requires. If the MS is reliant on 2 handed weapon poses then I find the most critical aspects are whether the shoulder can move out enough to support such a pose, and wrist articulation/angle

xSkye629x 90 is sufficient for posing. But this kit doesnt even look like it can bend it arms 90°

I agree that the Astray needed a revive before this came along. I could argue they should have done that for the Alex as well so they had a better base for the Tristan. Can you imagine a perfect world where that happened? I can, and I want it.
Just visited japan and went to the diver city mall with unicorn gundam and bought like 10 gunplas love your informative vids
4:17 - 4:20 that symmetrical form looks amazing but the asymmetrical version is still pretty good too

Eh not always though. He's misbuilt kits (galbady rebake), been too harsh overall (Cherdium saga), and screwed various other things too....

Jetfire48 I didn't like his review of the RG Shinanju. He was not handling the kit properly and it looked like he built it hastily. I myself don't really like the Shinanju (though I don't dislike it either) but I really didn't like how Mecha did that review. I have noticed thought that he's improving now

Finally someone mentioned the giant hand with the cloak and where's the second beam weapon it carried. Some modding needed to make it better

I've always thought that Tsukasa would've worked better as the final boss of Divers, not the mid-boss. And this kit being a rushjob only strengthens my opinion since it would've also given them more time to work out the kit's kinks. :(
I wonder if the armour design will be improved if they decide to release the Lord Astray (a new-ish? mobile suit from princess of the sky, there's like only 1 photo of it)

You, out of my head! Seriously you addressed every point I had questioned about the kit and as someone who was looking to create a No Name full cloth and a Lord Astray from two kits I'm now fully disappointed in the non-ability to change the parts left to right on the kit.
Would you think it possible to create two symmetrical kits with modification or are they just too different?
I guess I'll just wait for Bandai to finally release the Lord kit... Hopefully!

That's it, we really need more Revive kits, dibs on the Justice Gundam.

The thing is the original kit this was based on was a Revive before the Revive line existed. It was a brand new mold and was essentially a perfect HG kit of the Astray with a lot of detail, amazing poseability, and an insane amount of accessories. It's only falling grace was the stickers, and that's partially due to the insane colors of the Astray that can't be replicated in HG form.
This kit was just a letdown and did not do that original mold justice, it's a waste of potential.

This was the first kit I painted. Had to get rid of that maroon. Its one of the few kits that looks good just standing lol

Yeah I really don't like it a first, but it's coolness in the anime got me hooked and bought it. It's not a total waste since the gimmicks of the no name unit is not actually transforming, but just changing of formation.
And the beam saber, I somehow managed to recreate it by modding the small fin-like part on the back.

I had a major problem with the right head horn-it kept getting in the way of the gun and would fall out constantly.
Was able to fix the color issue by spray painting the brown bits black before assembly.
Looks dope. It reminds me a little bit of Zeratul from Starcraft.

The kit itself is so disappointing, when considering the mass potential it had. I cant even begin to describe how hypes I was for a new, amazing looking astray kit... But then the toss out this? Im not a build divers fan by any means, but this was one of the few kits from the show I was actually hyped to see translate into plastic. Bandai to the "rescue" I suppose.

I onestly plan to get this and I think after being given enough love and care (plastic surgery) he will be a mean addition to my collection, but from a straigth build perspective yeah he sucks

Look wich parts stop the movement and just trim a bit with a file. I did this to my rg quanta's head, and now it has decent upward movement
This kit reminds me of *Zero* from *Mega Man Zero* . With the cloak, head design, and all.

This is my first gundam and after a few days I've finished building it. I feel like it's very flimsy like some parts will fall off if I mess with it even a little. The Cape especially it'll just fall off its arm if i try to move it's arm. I haven't tried it's other modes but once I get a stand I'll try to make the big gun thing. (Sorry I've never watched gundam b4). Maybe I'm doing something wrong but still it looks very cool imo. Very very fun aswell.
this guy had so much potential, if only they made him the correct color scheme, if only they made it with better articulation, if only they made the no-name unit with a proper transformation into its rifle mode and actually gave it its claw mode, if only they provided its second beam saber, if only they gave it its buster blade, if only...
Gonna repaint no name unit into black right now.
Damn and this guy looks so promising too.. Oh well, just hope they make a Gundam Snow White someday

Next version, I want this model to be symmetrical and MG 1/100 scale. That would be awesome.

I'm thinking about getting two no name cannon/pack for my Advanced Hazel. Just wondering about the peg part of it.
Since there is enough parts for the normal red frame astray arm with the double jointed right arm, can we use it to increase the articulation of the left arm? Will try once I get mine...😉

I'm gonna get this for customization practice. I can easily paint the rifle, and the terrible articulation seems like a good challenge
This kit would look amazing bashed with two No name weapon sets on both shoulders. Like an Astray Full Cloth.
We need more 1/100 master grades and the no name needs to be one of them and any from any of the build series will do as well

its only the looks that i needed and honestly i love the gundam astray no name very much (excluding the color and articulation (which it doesn't bother me at all)).is one of the top 20 of my favourite gundam.

I preordered mine from hlj when it got announced and now I'm on a backorder list, I'm not really mad since I already have a pretty large backlog and have the RG Sazabi on the way but the last time this happened with the RG tallgeese the notified me to apologize and say that the preorders surpassed their projected stock and all of that but now nothing.
Funny thing is i just started building gunpla yesterday and this was my very first build. I love this friggin thing. only thing im mad at is it didnt come with a base so i stole the one from my second current build 00 sky higher phase sky 🤣 i love these maroon burgundy colors on mine.
I still want it. Needs a ton of work for sure, but most of my kits live on the shelf anyway since I too scared to chip any paint after all the work I put in.

just rewatching build divers... and I 'realized' (or maybe more like I guess, so you may) that this color of red kinda pretty much is the same color as the coat/sweater Tsukasa was wearing
guess you could kinda do the gauntlet... with the lower 'finger' being the part in the middle of both 'fangs' the middle one the short fangs and the upper one the two parted one... case you can mount it like that...?

Doesnt the seperate No-name Unit that you can buy comes in black? Cus seeing this, i might go for that instead then the full kit. Might go all the way and mod a Astray or a different kit to look more like the original then this kit.

I think it’s safe to say that everyone in the gunpla community myself included feel these parts should’ve been molded in black. Bad articulation or not I’d like to get this kit!

Coming back to this after a while, this could be treated as a limited edition kit despite being a possible defect. Most No-Names nowadays are black.

The first thought I had was why was this kit white instead of the beautiful grey they used in the show... But overall, if they took a bit more time to release this kit I think it would've turned out way better
