I used to love this song until I got married to someone who was 8 years younger than me. Our marriage lasted for 18 years but every time I heard this song it struck a cord with me. It was no longer as beautiful as it was before I had been married. We divorced a month ago and this song was my biggest fear coming true. I was resentful at first but I came to understand why this song had brought up those feelings in me because I felt it throughout our marriage although I would constantly ask him if he felt this way.
