Here is some corrections :
- Shield Boomerang ignore the size (it doesn't matter S , M or L monster you got the same damage)
So we dont need to level up Cavalry Mastery for Shield Boomerang Damage
- Ivory's Damage on Training Dummy was higher because it deal 25% more Damage on Neutral
Training Dummy have 0 Def and Neutral Element..
So we can't test Ivory's Ignore Def to Training Dummy
- We don't need to maxed out Cavalry Combat since we mostly only use skills to attack
Level 1 Cavalry Combat is enough
Sacrifice does ignore flee in SEA too btw.

Desert Wolf Card doesnt add damage to Shield Boomerang. Shield Boom isnt affected by size. Just bought a Desert wolf card and slotted in the Ivory Lance, Damage didnt change wasted 4.6m

I think so.. SB damage can be modified by damage modifier except Size modifier

For tanking in ET/boss hunts, can I stick to ivory and mirror shield? I have a cardo +7 and an imperial guard but Im thinking if I should just sell them and upgrade my goibne tier. Do you alsi switch weapons papa?
I always switch to cardo and imperial..
I think better keep it.. Its hard to sell it anyway..

Sometimes I do increase it when I go for Hybrid SC and SB build..
It is giving additional damage when I'm using Shield Chain.. But not for SB
Hello, i am also a paladin. But cavalry doesnt work with SB. Only your weapon has damage modifier with Cavalry
I also have Desert Wolf Card and i put it on my ivory lance, i didnt get any extra damage on punk.
I think damage modifiers like the cards on different sizes doesnt apply to shields but rather on weapons.
However cards such as elemental and race ones do add damage to SB. Weird. My normal sb damage is 18k but im using a card (i think axe goblin card) that adds 8% damage to insect type, and i can deal 21k damage.

Will saint shield do? Or Mirror shield is a must? I'm quite hesitant to use mirror shield because saint shield provide good VIT and mirror reduce SP cost of SB. Please reply.
Mirror Shield is a Must!!..
Mirror Shield give more damage than vit+3 or even +5 IMO..
Shield Boomerang dont need that much sp pool since it has a After Cast Delay (4sec)
So thats not a problem..
@@PapaVictori88 Yeah I just changed my shield and it gave me more dmg than saint. It's my fault, I thought that mirror shield give SC more dmg and SP reduce to SB. Anyway thanks for this guide, I just need the goibne's boots for more VIT.
P.S. Yes, Mirror shield provide 15% more damage AND 30% SP reduce to shield chain and boomerang. A really mush have item for paladin with SC/SB build. Good investment for me.
I followed your stats build from your previous video(3 weeks old) so my stats now has dex 60 .. Is it bad or should I stick on it?
Total Dex 60 or Dex 60?
How much vit do you have now?
If vit already 99 or you think SB damage is good enough, then you can stick on it..
I max my dex to 60 first then atm i have 84 vit and 4 int.
Would it make any difference when using +10 ivory compared to a +4 one [shield boom dmg]?
No at Level 1-5.. SB Damage based on VIT, DEX and LUK
at Level 6-15, Atk Point give more damage on SB Damage

Papa another question does agi helps with cast delay of shield boom? What after vit i go for agi if it helps with cast delays?
No.. as long as I remember after cast delay only can modified by equipment.. (forgot what eq, but its mage class equipment)
One more way i found out papa that you can reduce cast delay is through food :)

Agi Crit Spear Build is a very bad build compared to other..
I dont think that build have any better aspect from other..
@Papa Victori man, i have +6 mirror shield and ivory lance and goibneset and 1 rune sb dmg 5%, why the damage output to players not same? Sometimes 23k, and sometimes to other players hit 31k, as you know ivory lance ignores def... And i lv 77, have 60+20 dex and 180 hit, why my SB always miss to sinx and sniper?
It also depends on damage reduce..
Your opp may have high refine armor, or using any equip with reduce damage from demi human..

@@gilarherlangga5002 bro, you know how much flee does sinx and sniper have? they are so high that you need more dex so that you can hit them or have additional enchantment (specifically HIT attribute) for equips.

ivory lance is better , shield boomerang based on vit stat ... but if u are a shield chain type , maybe saint spear is best option since the ATK is higher than Ivory but still you need Cardo for tanking purpose
Ivory give more damage.. But Saint Spear isn't bad..
And it gives you more exp..
You may need to change to Ivory later, but if you feel good enough then, maybe later..

Shield Skills are better..
I already tried Bash Build and it dont give much damage..
Even with that so many runes.. (I activating 8+ Bash Rune which give me +80% Bash Damage)
But, I saw it once, Paladin grind in Punk using Bash with 20k+ damage but I cant do it..
Maybe I need to adjust with my equipment..
deposit bongun card and see the significant bash damage
well we are spear type.. i know bash type use sword type specially nagan sword. and good for lord knight since they have lords aura. aura blade concentration and increase attack by every 5 agi
can u experiment in upgrading a mercenary shield to +10 and see if its better than a plus 5 mirror shield. i think SB depends on the shield refine for damage maybe a common item can beat mirror shield which is pricey haha

Shield chain or shield boom for grinding?
The weakness of SB is its after cast delay (4 sec)..
SC do better (with 1,5 sec after cast delay)
SC drain your SP super fast..
and its not easy to kill monster on your level using 1 shot SC..
If you can kill the monster with one hit, go for SC Build..

Yeah, no need to maxed it out.. Lv 1 is enough..

Yeah, that's good enough when you aren't breakthrough yet..
When you can cast Shield Boomerang with level 6+ you will need spear mastery for more damage..
But you don't need that if you can 1 shot monsters you want to kill

it will raise ur shield chain but not raise ur SB , because SB based on VIT DEX LUK also Refinement of shield
Attacks don't add damage to shield boom.. You can see shield booms formula in the skill itself.
Only get spear mastery if you plan on shield chain

I tried it personally. It seems like the skill (cavalry mastery) is bugged or something because you do the same dmg regardless if you have a mount or not.
Ps. Tried it on different L monsters

Yeah, it is very hard to farm zeny these day..
Oridecon give fast zenny since it will be sold fast..
I have 2 other characters that help farm zennies for main one..
Its a Blacksmith and a Wizard..
Wizard farming at Hornet (which give me Honey)
and Blacksmith still at Goblins..
On certain Level I will only use both to do pet Adventure..
Will make a Zeny guide later..
