In this video I decide to share my paladin farming build & my character progression.
The purpose of this build is as much zenny as possible, as little play time as possible while being 100% free player.
Most of the time I use shield boomerang as comparison because many people requested the comparison between shield chain vs shield boomerang.
IMHO shield chain farming build is still the most efficient farming build for Paladin.

Work up to the things you want, but don't expect to get them right away. There's never a get-rich quick scheme. There is if you want to use real money lol.
I actually have my Paladin as main. Hunter and Whitesmith as alt. Paladin is my rpg character, Hunter as second, and Whitesmith is just there because he's the one that makes money for me. (Ironically, I spend more time with my Whitesmith these days. You also get to use a gundam at later episodes lol).
So it looks like we're paladin brothers! Praise the sun!

Very nice progression video. I modelled my play style as casual gameplay. I focused on pet adventure and pet labor, with almost no grinding or farming. Am proud to say that I average 1-2 cards per week, even snagging d.wolf card in the process.
It's nice to know that it is ok to F2P this game and make good progression~ GLHF buddy!

Hi Big Ard, I enjoy watching your video. I have a question about the mirror shield! will shield refinement increase SC or Boomerang damage? or i can just leave it +4?
It's not stated in SC but in SB the refinement will increase damage. However in actual test, SC damage is increased along with shield refine level, but not much

I'm excited for the new server 4 days from now and I intend to be a competitive Paladin (I was going to be stalker but your vids are trully inspiring and made me change my mind). Can you please tell me how would be your process if you would start on the new server with the new economy. Where would you level up your fresh new Swordman? What would you build first? On the first 2 days, I hunt chonchon for iron and skeleton for steel. After that I move to steam goblin for coal until 45, and then just follow the list on: 10:16
My swordie just use normal atk + magnum break buff like in 5:53
My crusader use shield chain from the start for farm in metaller & dustiness.
My first priority is premium, I almost didn't by anything before I got my first premi.
After that I level my cooking book until I can cook 3.5 star food with 60%+ chance.
I farm & craft lance in morroc after I become crusader. My other equipment is either rift drop or free gacha at 9:14.
Bought tight around level 80,
1st desert wolf card (exchange), farm mutant dragon for ivory lance, and craft mirror shield (only buy the crystall mirror) at level 82.
I also trade a bit in exchange, for example I bought 3x flower ring for 250k and sell them when the price reach 800k, I also trade brigan, mastela seed etc. I never play CN server/CBT so I just use my instinct & never play big. If you already studied the SEA market I think you can reap lots of profit with only buy low sell high in exchange.

Tho I was still watching videos (of stalkers) and found your paladins videos and fell in love. I've taken note of almost all you did in those videos for me to start the new server as a respectable paladin, thanks for sharing everything

Also the leveling stats are the same as the other videos? Like full STR, 40~60 max dex and VIT on the rest? Should I start going for STR and only place a few points on dex, like 20, until I become paladin?
What pet is the best for Paladin? I see you using Savage, is he it?

Hi thanks for the good guide. I find all your guides very informative. I am currently level 90 paladin and farming Orc Lady.
Before this, i was farming punk till level 88.
From 89, I am farming Orc Lady (1-hit), with SC build.
At this point, I cant really farm Cookie yet. HP from cookie is too high and I dont have the gears yet.
My question is this, will it be beneficial if I switch my farming to Cookie? And if so, when is the best time to make the switch? (I will need to change my gears which will be expensive to do so).

I think depends on your grinding target, currently ice cube price is dropping, so if you prioritizing zenny over exp there's so many other better option like monster that drop cyfar/hand of god/ brigan etc.
What cards are equipped on your ivory lance?
If it's desert wolf, then only shield boom ignores size right? Shield Chain can be affected by size damage cards?
Yup, Shield chain is affected by size, desert wolf card helps a lot against small size monster

U were right. Base lvl and job lvl is important too. Selling right away rare items before the others is the difference between farmed char and poor char. My char is poor BTW. Lol.

Hi, I loved to try the build however currently I try to complete my tanking set which very expensive xD, so I don't have the HC gears yet. But I will try the build as soon as my tanking set is finished.
Im planning on changing to WS or LK coz im losing hope in my pally as my main do you think the game will change if Royal guard will be out? Coz im thinking sooner or later Pally wont be needed in ET anymore coz everyone will solo et from 1-90.
I think it really depend on your build & playing purpose, I currently build my tanking gears based on eps.5 royal guard, and my build purpose is more on the mass PvP & field MVP.
IMHO since ET is weekly dungeon, I think it's okay for every job to be able to solo/duet it. It's like MVP/mini bonus for ppl that can't compete in field boss.

Hi mate, in my early game I more focused on premium and dish (at least until I can cook hydra with 70%+ chance), If you have extra zenny I think accessories & thigh is a good start, and if the material for advance enchantment quest is still cheap, I also recommend to do the quest as soon as possible.

Yes play what you enjoy is actually the best way to play. I you enjoy little competition I suggest you to set character goal and simple plan about what would you like to do at certain level. For example, Arday (my char) is build for long AFK time, I rarely do ET/MVP because my limited play time, so that's why Arday' s first priority is all about AFK grinding. And it happen also a good thing for free player since most of our char development is depends on zenny.
@@bigard6715 yes that's good, I had plan for my char and I'm not too serious about it. I played plenty games and if I did it seriously I can achieve higher, but I was really exhausted mentally and physically.
Then now I really into a good friendship in guild with lil chit chat and messing around. The worst thing is some player already stop playing, and my close friend in game suddenly disappear both in game and contacs, Idk what happened, but I hope we can play again together.

I see ur focusing on dmg and stuff to ease the farm but how is ur tanking equips and card?
Yup, I'm just lucky to be able to buy it when it's still cheaper.
Actually the reason why I focus a lot in my farming build is because the tanking gear that I want is very expensive (rune boots, legion plate), and I want it all to be slotted especially the armor. So I need to farm and save a lot.
As for now I have basic gear for tanking like garman, elemental armor, various shield, obsidian cape, joker card, & demihuman equip with total of -79% demihuman resistance for PvP/demihuman boss.
@@bigard6715 the best way to spent money, cards become more expensive, equip will be cheaper. But sadly I can't keep up and I'm poor at beginning, and didn't do much efective effort to farm and spent my money. But gladly I enjoyed this game and my progress because I had good friend of guild members.

I think multijob need less playing time & easier management, but you only have 360 stamina per day, 2nd & 3rd char advantage is they use separate stamina so it won't interfere with your main character progress.
What is the build? Equipment wise. Do you have a lot of hats with attack deposited?
My deposit is quite lacking since I'm 100% free player and miss most of the headgear from event quest (to lazy lol), you can see my item at 00:50, (but I forgot to change my armor to tights)
Can you do update video? Ice cube already very cheap. Which is most profitable for lvl 90 to 100. Cheers.
Hi mate, actually the video is about optimizing farming. The location & target monster is up to you.
You can look at exchange/assistant/poporing.life which item is currently expensive and look for the monster that drop those item.
because the best item to farm can change every week or even in couple days.
Would you not reccomend to farm in orc lady when reaching lvl 89?
for level yes, but for drop I'm not recommending orc lady

Depends on many factor, with level 20 SC, 15%dmg food, mirror shield, ivory lance, 2x desert wolf card, STR meal B, 16% dmg to demihuman, it's around 2.1-2.2k atk.

100 zeny to 150 SP (cooking) so its 1:1.5, that's the expensive version, we can also buy hot meal with our BS+discount and got 1:1.77

i think even u are casual player with decent z gain with alt account u could kill the mutant solo , when u around lv80 as knight tree (either lk or pally. i also often to see sniper hunt this mini too) . yes we make lot mistake but just play at your own pace ^^ i could kill those mini too or joining mvp hunt but i never did it . well i just take things slowy hehe
so bout the mutant things is
if spear user , u can get the 100% dmg for large monster. mutant didnt hurts to knight who add some vit or u could just bring some white potion to withstand the mini

thights is the best garment to use?
it's in armor slot, for grinding it's one of the best armor. But also depend's on your build and your target monster, for example, if you exclusively grind for small monster with holy dagger, you can use thief's clothes

How did you even reach 2k atk? I have almost if not superior equips than you with 99 + 56 str yet my atk is only 1400+. With 6 food stacks and str meal A I can only reach up to 1686 atk. Are you using alloy?
Also how did you reach 90k damage on SC? With 1686 atk I only deal around 26k damage. That's almost 4 folds. I have already +20% runes also on SC.

With +240 Atk food, meal B, and alloy I can reach 2800+ atk. (100k+ damage to crystal guardian & emperium without MB)

maybe from job breakthrough? lvl20 SC gives 250% while lvl10SC gives 200% + spear mastery lvl20 atk increase to 280 also retribution lvl20 gives +10% dmg on neutral mobs

@@bigard6715 but I'm still wondering where did the huge damage difference came from... Does 400atk difference + hockey mask make my 26k shield chain damage do 90k+ damage? I don't think so... Unless you have lots of IV enchants for melee damage.

Hi, I never play the LK bash, so I'm afraid I can't give you the detailed guide/suggestion, however as fellow F2P player, what I can suggest is try to make as much zenny as possible.
It is one of the most important resource for character development, and for F2P player is even more important since we have more limit on how to improve our character. Try to find monster in the +-10-20 level range from your level that drops material with value more than 500z and drop chance more than 10%.
In those level dark priest/rideword/ferus is good example. Choose monster that you feel easier to kill and try to improve your damage until at least you can 2 hit kill those monster. After that keep an eye to the material price and try to find better grind option.
For damage pay attention to your skill, which equip/rune is important for the skill you use, for bash its bongun card & nagan, also try to get all 10 bash rune. Also pay attention to monster size, element, and race. If you use nagan, medium size monster is the best.
What I loved about this game is the dynamic economy, so the best grinding route is always change from time to time.
