The La Liga has never been a farmers league Bronco, in fact, it was the best league in the world during that era... During the late 2000s-2010s, La Liga teams absolutely dominated everything, The Champions League being dominated by Barca, Madrid, and to some extent Atleti., and the Europa being dominated by the rest... It was relatively hard to see an outside team defeat, or comfortably defeat a top 10 La Liga side back then in Europe; it was the best league during that period, just like vintage Serie A was the dominant force during the mid 90s all the way to the late 2000s... Now it's the EPL that's stating its claim as the best, who knows which league is gonna go crazy with everything say in 10 years time.
