That is what you get when a narcissistic psychopath is imposed on the country as a senate president.
We need to blame the judiciary, INEC/Yakubu for imposing these sociopaths.
In a sane country, people like Yakubu, Akpabio, Wike and other criminals in leadership will be in jail.
It is a sad case for our dear country.

I'm surprised that the UAE has that many women in her parliament. As for how the Nigerian male lawmakers speak derogatorily about women, I'm not surprised. In some places in Nigeria, Madam Ireti is old enough to be Wike's mother. They are "shamemakers" not lawmakers

Jack Ma has maintained that the success of his business is due to the top heavy women's presence in his top management team. He suggests that its not the competitive spirit that has made the internal system of his business successful and progressive, but the collaborative spirit of women, who understand community at a level that leaves men in the dust.
The apology was not an apology as it came with an excuse. That's a good example of men that feel intimidated by women who are determined to represent our gender at an incredibly high level. Senator Kingibe is using wisdom to manage herself and her constituents and I applaud the other women in that vile and misogynistic arena who are coming together to try their absolute best for Nigerian women.
As always @Adeaolafayehun, you ROCK! Peace out! Udo Di!

The reasons we don't have more women among our lawmakers, it's because of the money they are selling the tickets before election, it's not affordable, so it's too much for women to buy the forms. INEC should make it easier for everyone to be able to pick the forms.

I don't actually have problem with the gender of the public office holder neither am I interested in their ethnicity as long as you can do the job. However, I am of the opinion that all genders should be given equal playing ground to contest for position talking about both male and female having same opportunities so if a woman win then it's OK, I don't even mind if all of them are women as long as everyone is duly elected. Secondly, women should also make themselves available so that we can vote for them by contesting because you cannot win unless you contest.
