This was actually pretty hype. And further confirmation that FighterZ failed us by giving us 37 Gokus and no Mr. Satan.
FighterZ gave us Videl
Krillan and yamcha disrespected by failing to beat out dr. Gero on the line up.
As much as I love Yamcha, I can't deny his feats could all fit on a post-it note.
1: Beat up toddler Goku
2: Beat Krillin Sparring
3. Beat a few Saibamen and Cell Jr's.
4. Cut Goku's tail with Puar's help
He's got a lot of spirit and style, but not much else.
I'm really proud of those comebacks. I wouldn't have even played Vegeta if certain other characters felt good, and i only had like an hour and a half to pick this up.

This tournament was a rollercoaster of emotions... And by that I mean I laughed all the way through. A round of applause to the partecipants, although Mr. Satan should have won. T_T

Watching the evolution of franchise games is always so interesting. This feels like if fighterZ came out in the late 90s or 2000s.
I remember watching this at the arcades... And it blew my mind. I was so impressed and excited, like a DBZ arcade fighting game ? And I think it was also ahead of the TV show in Mexico, so massive spoilers for Cell... And then I played it and Went right back to KOF 😅 ... But still, it was such a novelty for a while.
you should cover Super Dragon Ball Z some time.

Hey JM, I'm still watching the second fight but... Could it be that the game, the jump and timer look way faster because it may be running at twice the frame rate it was intended to run?
Could it be that the arcade ran at 30 fps and you're running it at 60?
The game looks absolutely amazing for the time love the speed lol they really tired to capture the pace of the anime fights very cool game.
Can you please play DBZ Hyper Dimension? That game was really good and I feel like some of the move sets and mechanics from dragon ball fighterz were inspired from it.
