Even though I'm not that into sports, I actually love hearing you talk about it. The way you talk about sports shows me how passionate you are about it, and that makes it so interesting to listen to. It even makes me want to ask questions. When someone is passionate about something, I can listen to them talk about it all day, whether it's a topic I cared about prior or not. This stream was so fun and I look forward to the next one!

Its only fair that we get to see so the nerdy sports side of naggz after we share our interest of anime/manga culture. We should express interest in his hobbies as much he has expressed the passion and eagerness to learn about our hobbies/passion. Thank you nagzz21.

Hardcore baseball fan and also an anime fan is a rare breed and I love hearing Nagzz talk about it. Its such a weird overlap but its amazing for me since I love both of them as well, I hope you do more stuff like this in the future! I would love to see you and chat react to incredible baseball clips

The reason knuckleballs work is the same reason rifling makes bullets fly farther and more accurately. The rotational motion makes the projectile more aerodynamic, which reduces the influence of external air currents. Throwing the ball without making it spin is letting whatever natural air currents are present have that much more influence on the ball, which is what makes its trajectory almost random.

That was a really cool video. I grew up watching baseball with my grandmother, and seeing your enthusiasm kinda makes me want to check it out again. Ngl, I found Nagzz during his original vrchat run but wasnt interested however I came back and fully came onboard when his vtuber discovers series began; and I could proudly say that whatever this man talks about I get very interested in it because of just the sheer passion and charisma that this man exudes whenever he talks, especially if it's about sports.
I'm not a huge sports fan, and I am certainly not a fan of baseball at all, but this video was entertaining and fun all throughout. Nagzz enthusiasm and passion about the sport, added by his skillful way of story telling, just makes this a very damn well good video.
    Props to you Nagzz.

Think this is my first comment on a Nagzz vid, but as someone who found him through the anime and vtuber vids, and also as a fellow Mets fan, I absolutely love this content from him. He is so enthusiastic and fired up about sports in in such a cool way, given what his majority content usually is. Love how he can just cover really any topic he is passionate about, and his personality shines through no matter the subject.

I will have to agree, this was a fantastic video. Back when I was in high school, I didn't care a single bit about baseball but my dad was glued to the TV and monitor screen for it. Becuz the TV and my pc was next to each other due to tight space, I had to watch/listen to the games he watches so much so the point that I actually understood how baseball works and would occasionally watch it with him just to see how the current match was going but I didn't care who was who. At one point, I knew which team belonged to which state/city and here's the best part my dad didn't understand a lick of English.

  • @LT_Dangles

The reason baseballs have movement is because of the seams. So when a knuckleball is thrown, the seams aren’t telling the ball where to go, and however the air pushes against the seams will determine where the ball goes. Something like that ⚾️

    For the Knuckleball part:
You ever play the Baseball game in WiiSports?
A is a fastball pitch, super fast but easy to track and hit.
B is a Curveball, which is kinda fast but curves/breaks to confuse the batter a little
A+B is Knuckleball, which was always super slow and had a weirdly harsh drop that always caught Player 2 offguard especially if you've established a rhythm by only using Fast/Curveballs for most of the game.
Hope that helps, from a former Mets fan to my fellow weebs/shrimps

If you check out one of the recent VODs on his twitch channel, you can actually see chat, for the first time ever, spam ZZZZ to ELDIN RING in favor of watching the legendary Mets comeback. We also had a thing basically saying nagzz was a mush (basically bad luck if he watches the game) because every time he couldn’t watch the game cus of eldin ring streams the Mets won. It’s even funnier when he made the realization that the last time the Mets won the World Series was the year before he was born lol.
