Had one at 74% battery until a month ago that I accidentally dropped and the screen just malfunctioned. It had never been repaired and it was already a second-hand phone I bought a year or two ago.
Instead of repairing it, I upgraded to iPhone 13 because where I am based those two options costed around the same, and I was planning on upgrading next year anyway. They accepted my iPhone X with the damaged screen and even gave me a discount in the final price for the 13, so I'm sure it will get repaired and given a third life.
Short answer: yes.
Maybe a bit slow and without the latest functions but definitely can still use. It's an amazing phone. If you're a normal person who just wants a phone with social media capabilities, and is not interested in the latest thing, this is still a good one, probably for the next two years max. For children is also a great one unless your kiddo plays videogames-- it will get very hot and will probably lag a bit.
I remember mine with love. It was indeed a great phone. I hope is in good hands and that it makes its next owner very happy like it made me. ♥
With 89% battery health, my iPhone 13 drains all the way to 20 within 5 hours of minimal usage (approx 2hours screen on time) if the cellular data is ON. Bro how does your iPhone X manages to stay up with this solid performance even the cellular data is ON all the day? 🙂
Tbh 89% kinda low considering once it hits 80% is time to get a new battery
But the new iso or just the phone model will just drain power I guess

Do you have background refresh disabled?
Everything is done according to the battery saving tips and the background app refresh is only ON for WhatsApp.
I got my iphone x back in 2017. I'm still using it no and it's still working pretty well. For it to last this dang long is pretty impressive to be honest.
I bought mine in 2018 and I still own it, its battery health is still at 73% and its processor can still handle a lot of games. it still serves me for social media, but since Apple has finished its software updates, I'll have to buy a new one. Sad for me since it was my first cell phone bought with my own money 😅

1h 39m SOT is insane. My iPhone SE3 is at 3.5h SOT and it's at 88% BH.
Currently at 21% charge. My last charge was 37 hours ago.
I'm watching this because I'm thinking of getting another backup phone with a less processed camera (since newer ones like mine have Smart HDR) . I think I'll go for the 12 mini since its price is close to the X now.
No 12 mini battery dies very fast

The battery gone bad..had to changed it cause it won't get further updates and staying on iOS 16 for that devices..
Overall, would you recommend it to a student who used to play heavy games once in a while eg eFootball, COD Mobile and other social media or should i get the Galaxy S10

I recommend searching up iPhone battery tips on TH-cam, I used a guide and it helped a lot with battery usage!
you should replace the battery. no tricks will help you. 77% is already a critical amount of charge. and he sits down very quickly. just replace the battery with a more powerful one. You can buy a higher-power battery for this iPhone, of course it will not be original, but the same quality battery. for example, the native battery is 2700 mAh, and the new one is 3500 mAh. The difference is big. And it will work for another couple of years without problems. Disable unnecessary functions and applications. reset to factory settings. Or make a restore through iTunes, this will also help reduce battery consumption

I didn’t know that my iPhone X was “old”! I’ve had it since the X was launched. No intention of upgrading - yet! When I can no longer use it I’ll upgrade. What am I missing not having IOS 17? That could be a deal breaker. The battery doesn’t concern me as I have a power bank!

That’s wired my 12 gets 3 hours of screen on time and when on and off 5 hours like what my bh is at 86
My xr lasted around 4-6 hour with 80% battery left I came from the 8 plus and so it may have must been that better I haven't noticed
