      What a stupid animal that mistakes a truck for its mother 😂😂😂 I thought these things were supposed to be intelligent 😂😂😂Anyway just wanted to thank all the donors for providing amazing elephant hunting in the future. You know whtn these babies you all fall for and foolishly write checks ti support. When they become enormous eating machines and are dropped in a shrinking habitat they will start destroying ecosystems and will most definitely need to be culled or hunted. Talk about a target rich environment 😂😂😂Thanks donors much obliged. !

    I just wonder about the mothers and the rest of the herd having to abandon such young and healthy calf's twentytwo plus month's carrying them and then having to walk away so sad, but you guys do a brilliant job and they will have a second chance well done to all involved.

    You wonderful wildlife shujaas (I just learned your word for hero) so im going to use it ;) ) always rise to the challenge with bravery and devotion. Another baby elephant to rescue mid-rescue of a first baby elephant? You dove right in to save all the orphan Ellies you can! On behalf of humane humans everywhere, thank you.

      So in Kenya we have children starving to death and dying of diseases from lack of water and basic medical care, yet there is a sky vet to care for elephants? Seriously? Can you imagine how much a starving child in this country would appreciate a private plane ride to all the food and medicine they need. Yet that is reserved for elephants? My god this world has lost its mind! If you support this warped inequity Shame on you.

    Were these two related maybe even twins, if so it must have been horrible leaving them behind I wonder what would have caused such a drastic act.

    I'd like to see the load manifest and weight/balance computations for the leg with both elephants onboard. The Grand Caravan is a workhorse that puts up very respectable numbers. There are limits, however, to its hauling capabilities-and 2 elephants, one pilot, 2 to 5 keepers, their equipment and the prerequisite fuel may very well exceed them.

    Did the second calf not make it? I notice that only one calf was named. I hate that there is so much evil in humanity and that money means more to some than the life of these precious beings.

    • @pgavin66mpls

      purrrrson the second calf was named Mshindi - both passed away within 2 months

      NO!!!!! Why? I know they are delicate, and that they were traumatized without their moms, but DSWT takes such knowledgeable, tender, attentive care of them physically and emotionally; WHY DID THE INFANT ELES DIE?? No!!

      Tragic they both passed ... wonderful work of DSWT & all who care so much in Africa. xxx

    @BBWulf: I read somewhere that our specific capacities are there at the cost of our independence. Many animals can walk from their births, it is innate. We have less innate capacities, and our ability to walk must be learnt. The fact that we are smarts made us loose this capacity, not the other way around :-)

    • @Coupal1
      @Coupal1 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      j9dz2sf Humans do have an innate capacity to walk, but just not at birth. It is between the ages of 9 months to 14 months!
