" If i make the wrong decision people die." "People will die whether you make a decision or not. It is the choosing that matters not the choice." As an adult that has gone through some tough experiences this is some really sound advice.
@@geeker6350 Do we really need to mention how many times anime characters have got away with horny elements? Compared to the examples that can be brought up i would say Femur is quite tame xD.
Say what you will about the sexual innuedos. No kid could ever understand what they mean. This show is so well written. It can actually teach kids some moral lessons and provide entertainment. I will take this over any of today's cartoons (that all they do is create mindless consumers) any day.
You could almost imagine Lamprey screaming a fit inside that pod realizing she lost some very powerful intel to an enemy...and that her master will most certainly not be pleased, either.
I wish they could continue this series. Imagine how much better it would look nowadays (not that it even looks that bad), with a bigger budget and more advanced software to work with.
Yeah but they'd be dicks and try to re-cast it. You can't fucking out-do the voice acting in this show man. Every single voice suited their character so perfectly. This show should be remastered, but the VA's not replaced.
I personally wouldn't like to see new software or 3d modelling techniques. This looks so good, looks like Halo: CE, that type of lightning and reflections, the metal and shiny reflections, the oily skin in the Femur, the skin texture in the ice king, looks so 90s. I wouldn't want to see it turned into Pixar film.
Really like it, but I can tell it hasn't aged all that well. The animations and pacing specially. The graphics were pretty damn good for those days and still look ok.
This Series hides the lesson I've always known...what does that mean? Not sure. But I know something can be understood by listening to other cultures and other places.
I’d feel Tekla’s overcoming Lamprey could’ve worked better if she knew the other council members before hand. If she wasn’t out of commissioned the first episode this scene could’ve worked better.
To be fair....the last order she received from her father and fallen planet....was to warn and protect other worlds from the Beast. So i would say it makes sense that she overcame Lamprey despite not knowing the Council members well.
Well, if you think about it for a bit it doesn't contradict anything. She did see them while her body was possessed. And I don't think it was that she received "power' from them. As stated earlier she could let lamprey out anytime but didn't want to risk it. So basically she just got a doze of courage (the thought that together they would prevail), so she decided to let her out.
Lamprey: you are too late. Graveheart:you're wrong we will defeat you with the powers of- Pyrus: friendship Cyros: harmony Jade: incredible violence Graveheart and love
It's one of the things I think of when I watch BEAST WARS. Yes, the animation itself looks dated, but what I really like is the craftsmanship of the animation. Mainframe really took pains to give the characters gestures, emotions, and personality. It goes a long way. AIs every release of this OOP now, or has it actually gotten out there on DVD someplace?
Also they made up for it by having a very good quality in their writing seeing that they could not rely on the CGI alone to keep their audience hooked.
Totally agree with the last point here, though I would also point out that for the time, the animation was really good. While not running at 60 FPS, I'd argue the individual stills hold up at least decently--at least compared to other products of the time like Roughnecks or Reboot.

20:03 “All battles are first won in the mind, Jade.” I love that line.
Cool episode! Tekla and the Ice guy are,in my opinion, the most well done and designed characters of this awesome underrated sci-fi show! ;)
Graveheart- Noble
Pyrus- Brave
Cryos- Patient
Femur- Horny
Tony Jackson I'm still kind of shocked at some of the stuff they got away with Femur. Dude is straight up radiating horny energy.
@@geeker6350 he was pretty over the top. He does regularly get his come uppance tho, which is nice.
Horny-Scoundrel-Backstabber-Party Animal-Emperor of Bone etc.......

Pelvis is always trying to poison that slimy toad's food lol.
Ahh, I remember back when I was so young that I didn't realize how sexually explicit Femur really was lmao.

And a proper finale!

Ok, that one guard on Femur's ship was fast to pick up on Lamprey when her name was spoken.
"i'll give you a ride, if you know what i mean" LOL,,,,, so rude LOL
Thanks for these uploads!

Not nearly as explicit as 10:04

So, friendship, psychic magic, and poison on a robot, interesting.

Wow, innumerable sex innuendos. This is a kid's show?
Apparently it rated only a Y7 rating...geez what would a higher rating would have allowed to get put in?!

Man, this show would be so much better if not for the animation quality... then again, they had to do with what they had at the time.

If you want to see truly dated CGI watch Babylon 5
Animation quality means jack shit for what makes a show good. The characters and the writing do.
Shadow of raiders is fucking planet wars.
Absolutely amazing tv series, i wish they done more episodes
