    The official Olympic channel doesnt have rights to play audio from the olympic games? Music during clips like these is less entertaining.

    2004 Olympic men's 200m freestyle final : Ian Thorpe, PV Hoogenband and Michael Phelps were at the same race.

    Men's 50m freestyle final at 1992 Olympic :
    Alexander Popov beat two USA legends of this race : Matt Biondi and Tom Jager. Jager was still the WR holder, though, until 2000.

    1988 men's 200m freestyle final. It was supposed to be Matt Biondi vs Michael Gross. But Duncan Armstrong won the gold, Anders Holmertz took silver, Biondi got bronze.

      Jon Sieben also took part in 100m fly final at 1988 Olympic in which Anthony Nesti of Suriname beat the favorite Matt Biondi by 0.01 sec.

    the first one in my opinion didn't train enough and swimming in a 13m pool for eight months isn't enough. But I will give him credit for making it to the Olympics (trials I think?)

      he's from Equatorial Guinea... he'd never even swam in an olympic sized pool, because they don't have any. They literally can't properly train for the olympics, and he still decided to swim as much as he could to try and make it.

    The fact that you have the 2008 relay at #5 is laughable! The importance to history, Lezak's epic comeback and fastest split in history should have put it in 2nd easy.
    Now you get to dump at least two of the ones on here and add Bobby Finke's epic 800 comeback and Lydia Jacoby's comefrom behind win.

    I dont mean to be rude but with that time in the first race I could be in the Olympics. I get that back when he was racing swimming wasn’t great. He didn’t do a streamline. But, Congrats to him on making the olympics!
